This is a senior, hands-on closing role. The VP will personally lead complex enterprise sales cycles, drive paid engagements, and expand relationships across programs and therapeutic areas. Success is measured by deal closure, quality of partnerships, and expansion within pharma accounts, not activity or product management outputs. The role is US-based with responsibility for global pharma relationships. Responsibilities Close and Expand Pharma Partnerships Own end to end pharma sales cycles from first engagement to signed agreements Close paid pilots, research collaborations, and multi program commercial deals Expand initial engagements into broader translational and clinical development partnerships Drive alignment and urgency across scientific, clinical, procurement, and legal stakeholders Senior Relationship Management Build trusted relationships with leaders in translational medicine, clinical development, biomarkers, and precision oncology Navigate complex pharma decision making and budget ownership Position Imagene as a long term strategic partner across development stages Market and Competitive Leadership Maintain deep understanding of translational and clinical development priorities Track competitive activity and apply market intelligence to win deals Identify repeatable, high value pharma use cases that convert to paid engagements Scaling the Pharma Commercial Motion Develop repeatable sales processes, qualification criteria, and deal playbooks Design deal structures that scale from pilots to multi program partnerships Improve deal size, quality, and velocity while mentoring future BD and account leaders Requirements 8+ years of business development experience in senior business development or partnerships roles within pharma, biotech, or life sciences AI Proven track record closing complex deals with translational research or clinical development teams Advanced scientific degree (PhD, MD or MBA) strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to personally close high-value, multi-stakeholder agreements Deep familiarity with biomarker development, translational medicine, or clinical development workflows Existing senior-level relationships within pharma R&D organizations Strong negotiation skills and experience with pharma procurement and contracting Clear, executive-level communicator able to drive decisions Highly autonomous, results-oriented, and accountable

Candidates should have over 7 years of product marketing experience, particularly in precision medicine or biomarker research. | Description As our Head of Product Marketing, you’ll be the scientific storyteller who turns complex drug-development and biomarker data into compelling narratives that drive adoption across technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities Develop and execute scientific marketing strategies to support strategic communications, product launches, and thought leadership initiatives. Create evidence-based, engaging content such as scientific posters, whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, presentations, and case studies. Translated complex scientific data and insights into impactful messaging and content, tailored for biomarker, translational, clinical development, and commercial teams. Collaborate with product, sales, data-science and science teams to align marketing narratives with the company’s scientific innovations and strategic goals. Create product supporting materials including user guides, training materials etc. Act as the scientific voice for Imagene, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all sales and marketing fronts. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging technologies. Requirements Master’s in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, or related; PhD preferred. 7+ years in product marketing, with 3+ years in precision medicine, biomarker research, or related scientific domains. Demonstrated track record of translating scientific data into high-impact marketing materials. Exceptional written and verbal communication; skilled scientific storyteller. Familiarity with clinical trial and biomarker study landscapes in biopharma. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience developing marketing for AI-driven or computational biology platforms. Hands-on experience with Voice of Customer methodologies and market research tools. Demonstrated success securing and delivering conference presentations and workshops.
