Provide customer service via multiple channels, schedule field representatives, manage billing and service inquiries, document work orders, and communicate with agencies and districts. | High school diploma or equivalent, clerical customer service experience preferably 3+ years in a call center, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and basic math skills, US citizenship, and willingness to pass background and drug screening. | Temporary Associate Administrative Customer Representative MUST HAVE CUSTOMER CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE This is a Full-Time (On-Site) Position in East Los Angeles, CA and supporting a local Water Utility Company. Full benefits are inclusive to this position. Contract Term: 6 Months (with possible extensions) Requirements: US Citizenship Work Authorization Status; Willingness to complete a background check & drug screening; Completed Highschool Diploma/GED; relevant professional experience including clerical customer service experience; Preferred Experience 3+ years working within a Call Center Environment Compensation (Firm): $25/HR (W2) WORK HOURS: The work schedule is Monday through Friday, operation hours are 8:30AM to 5:00PM. THIS POSITION IS 100% IN OFFICE WITH NO REMOTE WORK. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Provide customer service via all communication channels (written and verbal) addressing customer requests or inquiries concerning services, water quality and billing concerns. • Schedule field representatives for service calls, including turning off/on services, and respond to water quality and service disruptions. • Organize and schedule service delivery, billing, and collections. • Document work orders, respond to customer emails and update customer accounts. • Perform tasks associated with the daily, monthly, and all associated reports to ensure accurate accounting of operational activity. • Provide customers with information regarding Company programs and services. • Communicate with outside agencies and departments for service efforts. • Communicate between regional customer support center and local districts. • Process customer service paperwork as necessary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • An Associate Customer Service Representative must be able to communicate effectively with their supervisor, co-workers, and the public. • Have the ability to perform basic mathematic functions, calculate figures, and reconcile account information. • Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office. • An Associate Customer Service Representative must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Strong reading and writing skills are required... Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • Clerical experience is required. • An Associate Customer Service Representative must be able to effectively communicate billing protocols procedures, special programs, and general field service delivery protocols. • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize assignments and work in order of urgency and sensitivity
