Manage and monitor a portfolio of commercial loans and bonds, including underwriting, risk assessment, and client communication. | Requires 5+ years in underwriting or commercial banking, with experience in complex loan transactions, preferably in nonprofit or government sectors. | Description Summary: The Associate Director -Portfolio Manager (PM) -Government and Non-Profit is responsible for the management of a portfolio of commercial loans and bonds within the Government Nonprofit & Native division. Primary responsibilities include underwriting quality, portfolio monitoring and portfolio administration for an assigned portfolio. The Associate Director PM will frequently collaborate with internal partners including Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, Treasury Management and other product partners in optimizing customer relationships. Duties & Responsibilities: • Underwrite complex commercial loans and bonds in accordance with Huntington credit policies. • Monitor a portfolio of commercial loans and bonds, proactively identifying emerging risks and escalating concerns as appropriate, and maintaining accurate risk ratings. • Portfolio administration, including management of delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, product renewals, etc., as applicable. • Maintains and confirms credit worthiness of customers. Gather, review and track appropriate documentation from applicants and clients such as financial statements, covenant compliance and other due diligence items. • As applicable, attend client calls (virtual or in-person) with Relationship Management and other Bank partners. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market/industry trends. Conduct industry and market research using numerous resources available. • Assist with training and/or mentoring Analyst & Associate level colleagues. • Review and negotiate credit documentation in consultation with legal counsel. • Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation Range: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 Annual Salary The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
