They provide phone and email support to both internal and external customers, troubleshooting issues with Hologic’s cytology and molecular products. Think this role is for you? This individual has an ability for troubleshooting issues beyond “computer stuff.” In this role, you will be troubleshooting our diagnostics instruments (cytology and molecular), reagents, and operator issues. You will be offering technical support to internal customers (R&D, Field Service, Quality, Marketing, etc.) and external customers (Lab technicians, hospitals, etc.) via phone and email. We provide support 24/7, you may be on-call and serve as back-up for technical and application support as needed, including some holidays. Key Outcomes: Provide customers with service and product troubleshooting for cytology and molecular products, including instruments, reagents, and software, via phone and email. Document calls in the CRM system and escalate issues that require further investigation. Authorize return of customer product for investigation. Determine replacement of product as warranted. Potential Growth Opportunities: Represent Technical Support as specialist for designated product(s). Act as liaison to other departments within the division concerning issues related to specific product lines. Serve on product development or support teams. Provide Technical Support team with troubleshooting training and informational updates. Work with Marketing and Service departments at the launch of new products. Reviewing or creating label copy, participate in pre- and post-launch teams. Build relationships with partners and distributors. Writing and reviewing procedures. Provide guidance and coaching to other Technical Support personnel. Do you have what it takes? You are technically inclined, you understand science – DNA, RNA, Cytology, reading the package insert on a medical product doesn’t sound like a foreign language to you. You have a customer service mentality, you are patient, have good communication and computer skills and are great at multi-tasking. You are comfortable speaking on the phone and have flexibility in your schedule. We are looking for someone who is eager to start their career in this field and wants to grow within the department. Additional qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in biology, Cytotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field (required). ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT), Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification or equivalent (desired). Experience as a Cytology Prep Technician (desired). Experience with cytology, RT PCR, molecular, or virology (desired). Ability to troubleshoot Laboratory Information Systems interfaces and/or network computers (desired). The annualized base salary range for this role is $53,600 to $83,700 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand. Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and enterprise BI solutions while collaborating with stakeholders and supporting self-service analytics adoption. | Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years experience, strong Power BI skills including DAX and data modeling, SQL proficiency, knowledge of data warehousing and ETL, Power BI governance experience, Agile and DevOps familiarity, and PL-300 certification. | As a Power BI Developer at Hologic, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade analytics solutions and dashboards, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and IT teams. Your expertise will empower our self-service analytics community, ensuring data integrity, security, and best practices are upheld throughout the analytics lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and enterprise BI solutions using Power BI. • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly BI solutions. • Integrate data from diverse sources, including cloud and on-premise data warehouses (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift). • Apply advanced data modeling techniques, including star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling. • Implement Power BI security models, including Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace governance, and data privacy standards. • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and IT to ensure solutions meet strategic and operational needs. • Support and mentor business users in self-service analytics, fostering adoption of best practices. • Contribute to Agile development cycles and DevOps practices, including version control, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field and 5–8 years of professional experience; or Master’s degree with 1–3 years of experience; or PhD with no prior experience. • Strong understanding of Power BI architecture, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), and visualization best practices. • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling (star and snowflake schemas). • Hands-on experience implementing Power BI governance and security models. • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and integration with Power BI. • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for BI development. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • PL-300 (Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst) certification or equivalent is required. Preferred Qualifications: • Professional certifications in Azure Data or related BI/cloud platforms. • Experience supporting self-service BI adoption and citizen developer communities. • Familiarity with modern BI trends such as data democratization and data mesh. • Proven ability to deliver in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
