This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and is comfortable managing a large caseload. Position Summary The Judgment Paralegal will play a critical role in preparing foreclosure cases for judgment, coordinating with attorneys, clients, and internal departments, and ensuring all county‑specific requirements and trial documents are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities • Review case files to identify issues or delays that prevent cases from being judgment‑ready and communicate findings to the appropriate departments. • Monitor assigned cases and prepare, draft, and file motions as required throughout the litigation process. • Serve as a point of contact for attorneys and clients, assisting with case updates, questions, and scheduling. • Draft Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Set Non‑Jury Trials. • Request witness information and necessary documents from servicers; prepare and file trial orders, witness lists, exhibit lists, and supplemental witness lists. • Ensure timely compliance with all county‑specific and court‑mandated requirements, including surety bonds for lost notes, pre‑trial filings, trial worksheets, exhibit disclosures, certificates of compliance, e‑filings, and fee submissions. • Assemble complete trial binders containing required affidavits, exhibits, final disposition forms, proposed final judgments, notices of filing original documents, and sale notices when applicable. • Prepare witness preparation packages, including proposed final judgments, trial exhibits, and attorney contact details. • Coordinate and prepare final judgment packages for summary judgment hearings. • Resolve post‑hearing issues that may delay judgment entry. • Draft Motions to Amend Final Judgment and prepare amended final judgment documents when necessary. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience required; foreclosure experience strongly preferred. • Hands‑on experience with Phoenix, LPS, Vendorscape, Real Resolution, Lenstar, Clarifire, and PACER is highly desirable. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. • Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume caseloads and prioritize work effectively. • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. • Florida Notary Public certification is a plus.
