Coordinate federal loan applications, ensure compliance, manage project timelines, and facilitate communication among stakeholders. | Requires 3+ years in project management within utility transmission, federal grants, or government funding, with strong organizational and communication skills. | We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to support a portfolio of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) transmission projects. This role focuses on coordinating federal loan applications, compliance activities, and project timelines to ensure successful funding and adherence to DOE requirements. Title: Project Manager (Federal Loan & Grants) Location: Columbus, OH (Remote considered outside of Ohio) You’ll partner closely with internal grant, compliance, and contract managers while working across technical and business teams to keep projects on track, compliant, and submission-ready. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate federal loan application and compliance activities for transmission projects • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables tied to DOE eligibility reviews • Track documentation, approvals, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance • Collaborate with environmental SMEs to gather and maintain submission materials • Facilitate communication across internal teams and external stakeholders • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies • Prepare status reports, updates, and issue resolutions • Support Grant Submittal, Grant Compliance, and EDF Contract Managers • Maintain regular communication with DOE/EDF stakeholders Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Public Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus) • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within: • Electric utility transmission • Federal grants or loan programs • Government funding or compliance environments • PMP preferred Skills & Experience • Familiarity with utility transmission projects and related workflows • Understanding of federal loan or grant compliance processes • Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Experience with project management tools and reporting • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment Additional Details • Occasional travel may be required • High-impact role supporting major federal funding initiatives Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
