Documenting project plans using various PM tools (MS Project, SmartShcet, etc.) Creating project status reports using the information from the project plan, databases, and other related sources. Identifying, documenting, and communicating any changes to original project scope of any managed project. Identifying and resolving project issues and risks throughout the life of the project, developing action and contingency plans, as appropriate. Continuously evaluate emerging trends related to IT solutions to incorporate improved features and functionality as technology allows. Develop and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards for operational decision-making and leadership review. | Requires expertise in Power BI, data modeling, analytics, stakeholder engagement, and training, with nice-to-have experience in EHR systems and operational reporting. | ABOUT THE ROLE This engagement focuses on converting the BugTrack issuemanagement Excel extract into a comprehensive, interactive Power BI dashboard for leadership visibility and operational decisionmaking. The consultant will collaborate with the business, HIT, IT, and operational teams to define reporting requirements and translate them into a scalable data model and intuitive visualizations. Metrics will include (but are not limited to) total tickets opened/closed, aging of open tickets, ticket type and category distribution, priority trends, facilitylevel insights, EPMOrelated tickets, and a dedicated AVATAR ticket dashboard (opened, closed, maintenance). The consultant will build automated refresh processes, apply dataquality checks, and deliver a polished dashboard ready for leadership review. The resource may also be engaged in other Power BI work related to DBHDS as it arises if time in needed.
