What You Will Do • Work closely alongside sales staff and BD (Business Development) to cultivate new business through design recommendations and events that feature product technical demonstrations. • Maintain first-hand knowledge and experience of the evolving JBL, Crown, and Harman product portfolio to provide clear, well-crafted solutions based on unique customer needs. • Present to both large groups and individuals, respond to their questions, and perform hands-on training that demonstrate how to deploy and optimize various hardware and software solutions. • Deliver successful product demonstrations ranging from small ballrooms, tradeshows, festivals, and arena concerts. This includes system design, equipment prep, and loading trucks, leading teams on-site during load-in, tuning and optimizing, leading a safe and successful load-out, and equipment de-prep. • Exhibit strong communication skills by providing updates to management and the office team while consistently engaging with customers in the field to build relationships, monitor activities, and gain strategic business insights • Assist the sales team by generating and revising quotes for customers in CRM. • Support project commissioning by serving as a technical advisor during pre-sales and assisting customers with on-site deployment and tuning in post-sales. • Answer technical support emails and calls directly from customers. This often includes troubleshooting hardware and software remotely and creating Performance Manager, Performance Software, and Venue Synthesis files for customers. • Gather concise and actionable data from customers experiencing technical issues with hardware or software. Report findings in clear, reproducible steps for investigation by engineering teams. What You Need to Be Successful • Minimum 3-year experience in the Professional Audio and Live Sound Industry, doing system design and deployment. • In-depth working knowledge of all JBL performance products and general knowledge of other brands within the Harman line. • Advanced knowledge of Venue Synthesis, Performance Manager, and Performance Software. • Advanced understanding of production sound system deployment. Must have experience deploying PA, consoles, and system management software on a large scale. • Ability to successfully manage multiple long-term and short-term tasks concurrently. • Structured way of working independently, while possessing skills to benefit the group in a team setting. Resourcefulness in solving problems and overcoming obstacles. • Experience successfully working in a professional environment. Communicating accurately and with diplomacy. Bonus Points if You Have • 3+ years’ experience in managing and maintaining client relations in live production and other high-stress environments. • Strong relationships with production companies and FOH engineers. • Previous experience supporting large-scale production or integration partners.
