Summary: The Vice President, Human Resources - Plasma Procurement & Bio Supplies is the senior HR leader for Grifols' global plasma organization. This executive leads HR strategy and operations for a large and regulated workforce whose effectiveness is essential to Grifols' plasma supply. Based in North Carolina, the VP partners directly with the President of Plasma Procurement to shape organizational strategy, strengthen leadership, and ensure consistent HR execution across all European and US operations. This leader also collaborates closely with HR Centers of Excellence and global/regional HR teams to align HR processes, support operational excellence, and reinforce a culture grounded in Grifols' Values - Passion for People, Responsibility, Innovation, Diversity and Excellence. Scope: Provide HR leadership for a 10,000+ employee plasma procurement network with donor centers across the US and Europe as well as the Bio Supplies division. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership • Serve as the principal HR advisor to the President of Plasma Procurement and a member of the Plasma leadership team and HR leadership team. • Shape the people strategy for the plasma procurement division ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational realities. • Reinforce Grifols' Values (Passion for People, Responsibility, Innovation, Diversity, Excellence) through leadership actions and organizational practices. HR Operations Across Plasma organization • Lead HR service delivery across the entire plasma organization (headquarters roles and center network), ensuring consistent execution of global HR processes. • Strengthen workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and retention strategies tailored to frontline operational roles. • Maintain strong HR controls, SOPs, and process reliability across all Plasma procurement and Bio Supplies operations. Employee Relations, Compliance & Regulatory Support • Lead employee relations and compliance programs across a multi‑state and multi‑country environment. • Support quality and operational partners in ensuring compliance with FDA and other regulatory expectations affecting plasma operations. • Promote a culture of safety, responsibility, professionalism, and adherence to standards. Talent, Leadership & Culture • Build leadership capability and a strong pipeline Plasma procurement division, donor centers and field‑based HR roles. • Strengthen a culture of Inclusion & Belonging (I&B) where employees feel respected, supported, and connected. • Partner with COEs to implement leadership development, performance management, compensation, and talent programs that support operational excellence. Transformation & Continuous Improvement • Lead the people‑related components of operational and organizational transformation initiatives. • Use HR analytics to drive improvement in staffing, retention, labor cost, employee engagement, and workforce performance. • Introduce streamlined, scalable HR systems and solutions to support a large, distributed operational workforce. Smart Collaboration Across HR & the Company • Foster cross‑functional collaboration with x-company functions / divisions. • Ensure plasma procurement, Bio Supplies and donor center challenges and opportunities are understood across the organization and supported with coordinated solutions. • Role‑model collaborative decision‑making and boundary‑less teamwork across HR and business stakeholders. Experience & Qualifications: Required • At least 15 years of senior HR leadership experience in large, complex, multi‑site operational environments. • Proven leadership of HRBP and HR operations teams across dispersed locations. • Strong experience in employee relations and compliance within a US context. • Success managing HR for a large hourly/frontline workforce. • Track record in cultural transformation, workforce optimization, and operational HR excellence. • Ability to use HR analytics to guide decision‑making and improve outcomes. Preferred • Experience in healthcare, biotech, regulated operations, plasma/blood collection environments or retail. • Global HR experience. • Experience outside HR (e.g., operations, quality) is beneficial. Acknowledgment:  The Operations Manager is a key member of the donor center leadership team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance to ensure donor safety, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production goals. This position will manage employees in centers with over 50,000 liters.   Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of the donor center when the Center Manager is not present. Collaborates with Training and Quality staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met. Coaches and leads through effective feedback to employees through the Operations Supervisor(s). Monitors and evaluates operations.  Works with the Center manager to develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervises the implementation of improvements.  Makes critical decisions for the modifications of action plans. Responsible for all personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and termination and the maintenance of all personnel records Partners with the center manager in budget preparation and oversees facility to achieve production targets and quality goals at the agreed-upon cost structure.
