Our team works with a wide range of products — including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection — to ensure customers receive accurate, timely, and proactive service. In this role, you will be a trusted point of contact for customers, providing updates on order status, backorders, and product availability, as well as sharing forecasting information to help them plan ahead for future needs. You’ll work closely with sales, supply chain, and logistics teams to deliver a seamless customer experience, especially during peak planting and harvest seasons. Key Responsibilities Customer Communication & Relationship Management · Serve as a primary contact for growers, retailers, and channel partners regarding orders, deliveries, and product information. · Proactively reach out to customers to provide updates on: o Order status – confirmations, tracking details, and delivery timelines. o Backorders – estimated resolution dates and alternative product options. o Forecasting information – upcoming product availability to support seasonal planning. · Communicate clearly with customers regarding substitutions or alternative products when needed. · Build strong, lasting relationships by delivering timely and accurate information. Order Management & Fulfillment · Accurately enter, update, and track customer orders in the system. · Verify product availability and coordinate with sales and operations to resolve any discrepancies. · Monitor shipments and delivery schedules, working with logistics to prevent or resolve delays. · Follow up on order issues to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution. Team Collaboration · Partner with the Customer Service Manager to align daily priorities and goals. · Work closely with sales, supply chain, and operations to provide seamless service. · Share insights on recurring customer issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Seasonal Readiness & Peak Demand Support · Prepare for and adapt to the increased workload during planting and harvest seasons. · Maintain accuracy and efficiency when handling high-volume orders. · Assist with special projects or seasonal initiatives as needed. This role combines strategic event leadership, data-driven marketing, and market analysis to move prospects from the top of the funnel through qualified opportunities. Success requires strong cross-departmental coordination, ensuring alignment between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience. The Senior Manager partners closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to integrate product and services marketing and with the Digital Transformation Manager to leverage the company’s digital platforms and customer portal as growth engines.
