Lead and oversee all aspects of production facility operations, including safety, compliance, efficiency, and team development. | Requires 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, and strong leadership and operational skills. | The Role GTI is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our production team in our Abingdon, Virginia facility. As Operations Manager, you'll coordinate with on the ground leadership to direct all the daily processes and long-term targets of our production facility in Abingdon, VA. You'll grind away at the details of managing internal resources to maximize safety, compliance, efficiency, productivity and culture. You'll also blaze the path toward creating and developing the multilevel professional team in Abingdon, VA, and you'll work closely with the management team to keep every detail of the facility up to snuff. You will be the one to ensure product quality standards are maintained, complete and accurate orders are processed and delivered, and inventory integrity is maintained. The operational duties are mostly hands-on and direct in nature and require substantial time be spent on the plant floor working closely and directly with all production employees. A strong leader knows that success is always a joint effort, and the Operations Manager will also excel at working with leadership from GTI Headquarters to help make sure GTI is smoking the competition at every level! Responsibilities • Oversee all strategic planning and vision for facility plant operations for processing, packaging, maintenance, quality and logistics/fulfillment • Manager all facility activities working closely with departmental managers ensuring wholesale objectives are accomplished on time and budget • Partner with facility General Manager on budgeting; Analysis of facility data, including efficiency metrics, labor variance analysis, defect rates, cost drivers, volume and capacity planning, etc. to make recommendations on optimal quality and efficiency improvements and capital expenditures • Develop and produce reporting to clearly illustrate the trends of the business • Manage and maintain a company culture consistent with the culture established at GTI corporate of accountability, transparency and enjoyment • Participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance GTI's mission, vision, goals and objectives • Continuously improve the skills, knowledge and morale of all employees; create an environment where the entire team does the same • Implement and maintain wholesale facility and equipment preventative maintenance program; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal billing or licensing requirements • Will be required to be on-call and to respond to emergency situations at any time. This may include scheduling issues, potentially covering a vacant shift, facility issues and/or human resources requirements • Other duties as assigned Working Conditions • Work involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil). Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business required • 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing environment; direct management of 30+ individuals in a manufacturing setting required • Consumer Packaged Good experience preferred • Computer skills strong experience in Microsoft programs and inventory tracking • Development of people/team members • In-depth knowledge & understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, certifications a plus • Exposure to horticulture and/or plant science and/or lab processing, a plus • Can-do attitude and ability to adapt quickly; business is experiencing tremendous growth so previous operational experience in growth environment is substantially preferred • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment • Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally • Possesses a high level of critical thinking • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTI • Must have a solid understanding of the Medical Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws Additional Requirements • Must pass any and all required background checks • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Manage Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments, develop low-code business solutions using Power Platform, leverage AI-driven automation, and support collaboration tools while engaging stakeholders and delivering projects. | 3+ years of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration, 2+ years SharePoint administration, proficiency with Power Platform, workflow automation, API integration, and strong communication and project management skills. | The Role We are seeking a Automation Solutions Engineer to design, build and manage modern collaboration and business solutions across our Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Power Platform environments. This role combines platform administration with low-code application development and extends into AI-driven automation and insights. The ideal candidate will partner with business and technology teams to streamline processes, enable intelligent automation, and deliver secure, high-performing systems that drive collaboration, productivity and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities • Platform Administration: Manage Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments, including tenant-level configurations, hybrid integrations, Active Directory, and security policies. • Solution Development: Design, build, and maintain apps, workflows, dashboards, and custom business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and related low-code/no-code tools. • AI & Automation: Leverage Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and AI Builder (or similar AI tools) to create intelligent workflows, predictive insights, and automated business processes. • Integration & Data Management: Configure and manage connectors and APIs to integrate Microsoft 365 and Power Platform with enterprise systems; ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance. • Collaboration Tools Support: Provide support for SharePoint and M365 issues, troubleshoot performance concerns, and ensure reliable, user-friendly collaboration platforms. • Continuous Improvement: Monitor system health, optimize performance, and update solutions to take advantage of new Microsoft 365 and AI capabilities. • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with IT, Security, and business teams to gather requirements, design user-friendly solutions, and provide training and documentation. • Project Delivery: Lead or contribute to migrations, upgrades, and enterprise-level initiatives in an agile, fast-paced environment. Qualifications • 3+ years of system administration experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365. • 2+ years of SharePoint administration (on-premises or online). • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate); experience with AI Builder or Copilot a plus. • Strong skills in workflow automation, data modeling, and API integration. • Familiarity with Azure, Azure DevOps, and Jira. • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. • Ability to translate business needs into functional technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. • Experience managing multiple projects in an agile or fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications • Microsoft certifications in M365, SharePoint, or Power Platform. • Experience with PowerFX, JavaScript, or scripting for customization. • ITIL Foundation or similar IT service management knowledge. • Experience applying AI/ML solutions to business processes or enterprise collaboration platforms.
