You would be a dedicated resource supporting one of our large technology clients. In addition, the team is looking for someone who demonstrates strong project management and business management skills, along with exceptional organizational abilities to ensure effective team coordination. This is initially a fully remote fixed term role till the end of June with potential to extend. You would be supporting a customer on the pacific time zone. Responsibilities 1. Squad Operations & Coordination • Partner directly with the product owner to manage day-to-day squad operations. • Facilitate twice-weekly squad stand-ups (Tuesdays and Thursdays), focusing on progress updates, blockers, and cross-functional dependencies. • Ensure meetings are collaborative and outcome-driven, not micromanaged or administratively repetitive. 2. Product Delivery & Roadmap Management • Support agile delivery cycles, prioritizing early and frequent value releases. • Maintain and update the product roadmap, planning iterative enhancements and release cycles. • Drive the team to deliver prototypes and MVPs, then plan subsequent releases based on feedback and evolving requirements. 3. Stakeholder Engagement • Collaborate with technical product managers, software engineers, UX/UI, content, and customer engagement teams. • Prepare and deliver concise updates for squad leadership, steering committee, and executive stakeholders. • Ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer across all team members and customer groups. 4. Issue Resolution & Dependency Management • Proactively identify and resolve blockers, facilitating communication to address dependencies. • Push for clarity and accountability-ensure no tasks remain "TBD" and all blockers are escalated and resolved promptly. 5. Process Ownership & Documentation • Maintain operational discipline by organizing ADO boards, Teams channels, and documentation. • Ensure all project artifacts are up-to-date and accessible, supporting continuity as team members change roles or projects. 6. Strategic Partnership • Serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the product owner, not just an administrative resource. • Step into conversations and decisions with end-to-end visibility, able to represent the squad in any forum when the product owner is unavailable. 7. This resource will be responsible for end-to-end skilling strategy, program execution, stakeholder management, and Japan-specific localization across Microsoft's strategic Global Partners. This role spans global skilling leadership, program and event management, Japan market liaison, and cross-time-zone execution, supporting multi-year Strategic Alliance Agreements (SAAs) with aggressive certification and readiness targets. The role operates without dedicated administrative or PM support for key areas and serves as the primary point of contact for a wide range of Microsoft internal teams, partner stakeholders and Japan-based suppliers. Key Responsibilities Global Skilling Leadership • Lead global skilling strategy for a major Japanese partner across Japan and ROW. • Advise partner and Microsoft leaders, aligning skilling plans to PBPs and SAA objectives. • Manage a complex multi-entity partner structure with no single point of contact. • Deliver skilling plans, executive-ready materials, and readiness updates. • Collaborate with PDMs/SPDMs to support designations, specializations, and readiness needs. Stakeholder & Governance Management • Maintain a structured ROB across Japan and ROW time zones. • Serve as the primary escalation point for skilling inquiries. • Partner with global and Japan-based stakeholders, including Alliance leadership. • Support large, high-visibility skilling motions and 5,000+ attendee events.
