Job Description • Procurement & Buying • Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services to support midstream projects (pipelines, facilities, compression, terminals, etc.). • Develop and issue RFQs, evaluate supplier bids, and prepare commercial bid tabulations. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors. • Create and issue purchase orders in compliance with company and client requirements. • Expediting & Vendor Management • Monitor supplier progress to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. • Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and project teams to resolve delivery issues. • Track and report on supplier performance, delivery status, and potential delays. • Maintain proactive communication with vendors to ensure alignment with project needs. • Project Support • Work closely with engineering and project management teams to clarify technical requirements. • Assist in resolving material discrepancies, shortages, or quality concerns. • Maintain procurement logs and documentation to support project controls and reporting. • Support compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and company policies. Skills Required • Experience: • 5+ years of procurement/buying and expediting experience. • Prior experience supporting midstream oil & gas projects (pipelines, compression stations, terminals, facilities). • Strong vendor network within midstream equipment and material suppliers is highly desirable. • Skills: • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. • Proficiency with procurement systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions, logistics, and supply chain practices. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
