Create and manage project timelines/schedules to ensure the team delivers a successful product within the desired timelines. • Support complex projects and product initiatives involving coordination with multi-disciplinary teams at Geotab; ensuring effective dialog, vision alignment and accountability of required work/deliverables. • Coordinate internal team activities and lead project meetings, maintain detailed meeting minutes, and follow up on action items. • Establish and maintain project deliverables, timelines, and milestone updates for sponsors and key stakeholders. Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders on all project-related aspects. • Analyze project issues and develop solutions, anticipate potential problems, and proactively address them. • Gather and document stakeholder requirements for specific products and translate requirements into detailed technical specifications. • Perform post-mortem reviews post-product delivery or as required within the project delivery process. • Engage in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to enhance organizational capabilities. What you'll bring to the role:• 3-5 years of experience in project/program management or product ownership within a technology organization. • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; a Graduate Degree is required. • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) is strongly preferred. • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent is an asset. • Experience with big data and techniques to extract value from large datasets. • Technical competence using software programs such as Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and JIRA. • Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
