Lead and coordinate complex security engineering projects ensuring alignment with strategy and successful delivery. | 8+ years managing technical/security projects, PMP certification required, security certifications preferred, strong communication and stakeholder skills. | Job Title: Technical Project Manager (TPM) – Information Security Engineering Role Overview We are seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and coordinate complex initiatives within the Information Security Engineering program. This role is responsible for driving execution across multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring alignment with security strategy, and delivering high-quality outcomes on schedule. The TPM will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, SOC, cloud, and infrastructure teams to manage project plans, technical dependencies, and cross-functional communication. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of security engineering concepts, enabling them to translate technical requirements into actionable plans and ensure successful delivery. Key Responsibilities • Provide strategic leadership for planning, execution, and delivery of security engineering programs aligned with organizational priorities and timelines. • Translate security engineering requirements into structured project plans, tasks, and deliverables. • Develop and maintain project artifacts including roadmaps, schedules, and risk registers. • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and resource constraints. • Coordinate cross-functional teams (security engineering, SOC, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams) to ensure successful delivery of milestones. • Manage scope, clarify requirements, and ensure technical alignment across stakeholders. • Drive accountability, resolve conflicts, and maintain momentum across multiple initiatives. • Promote continuous improvement in project execution, delivery processes, and engineering workflows. • Serve as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, decisions, and stakeholder communication. • Ensure transparency through structured reporting, dashboards, and communication plans. • Support change management activities across programs and initiatives. Required Skills & Experience • 8+ years of experience managing technical or security-focused projects in an enterprise environment. • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid). • Proven experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives with competing priorities. • Expertise in developing project plans, roadmaps, risk registers, and executive-level reporting. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership. • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects. Qualifications Mandatory: • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification Preferred: • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ • Experience leading cross-organizational initiatives or security transformation programs Technical Skills Must Have: • PMP (Project Management Professional) Nice to Have: • CompTIA Security+

Delivery leaders are expected to have an end-to-end vantage point on delivery, manage dependencies, remove blockers, engage stakeholders, manage financials, maximize vendor relationships, and enable an iterative delivery of value. You will need to keep pace with software delivery and organizational change methods and tools. Delivery leaders should also understand relevant Financial and Agile/Lean/DevOps tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have the following: • Strong Project Management Foundation: Experience managing complex information technology efforts, where multiple business and technology teams are involved. Solid grounding in Waterfall and Agile methodologies and ability to operate within a hybrid environment where variations of these and other methodologies are employed. • Experience with financial and project management tools and processes: Experience leveraging tools to manage demand / capacity and an understanding of how project allocations impact demand / capacity is important in the role. • Executive Presence: The ability to inspire confidence and command respect through a combination of demeanor, communication skills, and demonstrated competence in role-specific activities. • Relationship Building Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills are critical. Demonstrated experience collaborating in a similar environment with these or similar roles is highly desirable. • Motivated Driver / Self-Starter: This position requires the candidate to be a self-starter, to understand where to focus given many complex project efforts in flight at any given time and to be able to drive efforts through to completion. • Stakeholder Management: The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders effectively, communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business goals. An understanding of how to accomplish delivery in a complex, matrixed corporate environment is critical. • Facilitation Skills: The candidate will facilitate meetings and working sessions and must have strong facilitation skills, to ensure meetings achieve planned goals and all voices are included in the process. • Time and Priority Management: Managing multiple tasks and priorities is essential. The candidate must ensure projects stay on track and stay within budget. Experience and ability to manage, track, drive and deliver many project efforts simultaneously is important. • Analytical Abilities: The candidate should be adept at problem-solving and decision-making. Analyzing project data, identifying trends, and making informed choices are crucial.
