Lead and develop the sales team across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Eastern Missouri to execute regional sales strategies and achieve volume growth. | Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years foodservice sales experience, 2+ years team leadership, proven influential leadership, strategic innovation, and problem-solving skills. | As a Region Manager (RM) in North America Foodservice (NAF), your main priority will be leading, coaching, and developing the current Sales Team. You’ll be responsible for designing a Region strategy that complements our Zone, National, and Segment strategies. The Illinois, Wisconsin, Eastern Missouri RM role on the Foodservice Central team will be based out of either the Chicago or Milwaukee metro areas and manage the sales teams covering Illinois, Wisconsin, and Eastern Missouri. The 3rd most populous market in the country is well positioned for steady growth and will need a leader to manage the go to market strategy, take advantage of changing market dynamics, and diversify our channel presence. We are looking for someone who can capitalize on the significant population of non-commercial and regional chains in market as well as deep lodging opportunities in Chicagoland to lead growth Nationally in F26 and beyond. The Illinois, Wisconsin, Eastern Missouri Region Manager role may be the role for you if: • You’re a change agent: you’re flexible and agile; you challenge the status quo in order to drive stronger performance • You love to win, and have fun doing it: you have a strong competitive drive and passion for your work • You embody our Engaging Leader behaviors: you have the ability and passion for driving ownership, accountability and productive discourse to elevate individual and team performance Key Accountabilities Business Planning & Executional Excellence • Achieve Volume Growth through creation of a long-term vision and strategy for your Region. • Consistently evaluate your Region’s strategy and execution, pivoting when necessary • Problem solve to maximize your team’s growth opportunities. • Act as a liaison between your field team and cross-functional/headquarters partners to resource for these solutions. • Think beyond the boundaries of the role, lean into risks, and challenge the status quo. • Take on additional ad hoc project work to help shape Zone and National go to market strategies Grow & Inspire through embodiment of Engaging Leader Behaviors • Coach, train, and provide direct feedback to your team members through active participation in customer meetings & events. • Inspire your team to achieve the organization’s goals via the purposeful execution of coordinated strategic sales plans that will unleash the potential of the region to exceed the sales volume program year over year. • Lead a high performing team that is empowered, accountable, and inspired. • Lead by example to continue a culture of ownership, inclusiveness, and growth mindset. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • 6+ years of experience in foodservice sales • 2+ years of experience leading a team • Proven Influential leadership (including cross-functional partnership) • Innovation & Strategy (ability to innovate and activate plans to balance short-term commitments and long-term growth) • Problem Solving & Analytics (trend recognition, development, and application) Preferred Qualifications • Track record of distributor ownership and growth • Influence & negotiations skills (internal and external) • Track record of winning beyond what job might currently be • Multi-channel growth outlook and balanced basket approach to opportunities Additional Considerations • International relocation or international remote working arrangements will not be considered. • Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $108900.00 - $163500.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
