Our work depends on a Systems Analyst (Business Analyst/Tester) joining our team remotely to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities. HOW A SYSTEMS ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT • Analyzing, documenting, and communicating system and business processes • Facilitating and participating in customer-facing meetings for requirements, solicitation discussions and user acceptance testing • Conducting software presentations and providing technical support to customers • Documenting business, system, and reporting requirements specifications which includes assumptions, risks, system workflows, error validation messaging, data design, and security impact • Conducting peer reviews of system documentation which includes requirements, user guides, and email templates • Verifying completion of requirements with the customer by ensuring expectations are appropriately met • Understanding requirements and translating them into test solutions in the Salesforce environment. • Creating Test Scenarios, assisting in defining the acceptance criteria for the requirements, Test Cases/Script, Defect lifecycle management, and other activities involved in the QA lifecycle. • Conducting peer reviews of test cases. • Performing functional, automated, regression and smoke testing • Creating the test data needed for test execution activities. • Providing additional support and guidance to clients during the user acceptance phase • Ensuring high-quality deliveries of code through the development and maintenance of test cases, for initial validation of new features as well as for existing features updated due to requirements/environmental changes. • Working with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize the backlog • Participating in the product increment planning. • Participating in daily scrums with the project team for tracking progress in the sprint WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: ● Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or Computer Engineering, and/or equivalent experience ● Required Experience: • 3+ years of experience working with business processes and testing • 3+ years of experience capturing requirements • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst and/or Salesforce Consultant. • 3+ or more years of business processes and business analysis experience in a system engineering or software application environment • Experience with salesforce and/or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application • Experience working and understanding large, complex Salesforce projects, with proficiency in navigating Salesforce and comprehensive understanding of Salesforce terminology. • Experience writing functional test cases and performing software quality tests • Experience working in a Scrum and/or SAFe Agile environment • Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years ● Preferred Skills: • Experience working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or health insurance/heath care experience • Certified SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner or Scrum Master • 3+ years of experience using JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams • Superior written and oral communication skills • Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority • Must have the capacity to understand the QA processes and work in the software environment ● Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: ● Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home ● 401K with company match ● Comprehensive health and wellness packages ● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career ● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications ● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from ● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays
