This results in a growth of additional Planning Yard work at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor to help prepare both the Trident Training Facility and the Trident Refit Facility. About Department 705 Department 705 is an integral part of Electric Boat's Planning Yard businesses. With this business, Electric Boat supports mission-ready submarines assigned to the Pacific Northwest through engineering, integrated logistics support, and configuration management. Additionally, D705 is responsible for the management and execution of design and build projects for submarine support facilities and equipment for the principal Navy commands at Bangor, WA, and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Role Overview This position reports to the Site Engineering Manager at Bangor, WA in the Life Cycle Support Directorate and will be fully responsible for management of GD/EB Planning Yard (PY) contract work at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Trident Refit Facility, Bangor (PSNS & TRFB) Site Offices. The Program Supervisor will serve as a GD/EB focal point for all navy activities and other contractors that support EB in connection with the PSNS & TRF Bangor site operation. The analysis includes the evaluation of each cost element supporting the supplier's proposal. Cost elements include: man-hours, labor rates, material, indirect rates and other direct costs. Auditors develop a clear set of work papers and produce an audit report which will assist Materials Management in negotiating a fair and reasonable price with the supplier. Auditors may also assist in the negotiations. In addition to performing the audits, analysts will perform financial conditional analyses of select suppliers, price analyses, and special projects as required.
