This role oversees Submeter Billing, Security, On-Demand HVAC, Implementations, Technical and Customer Support, Customer Success, Business Operations, Finance, and Administration, ensuring these teams operate cohesively and effectively in support of Genea’s growth. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the SVP reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with cross-functional leaders to drive operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement across the organization. We are seeking a strategic, decisive, and highly adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, lean, high-growth B2B SaaS environment. The ideal candidate is both a visionary and a hands-on operator, someone who is eager to roll up their sleeves to deeply understand our business and diverse product portfolio, while also designing the systems and processes that enable long-term scale. This individual must have a demonstrated track record of successfully overseeing multiple distinct teams, strengthening collaboration within Operations, and ensuring seamless alignment with teams across the company. Proven experience leading complex business operations, driving change management initiatives, and deploying AI driven operational solutions is required. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee Genea’s day-to-day global Operations functions, including Implementations, 24/7/365 Technical and Customer Support, Customer Success, Business Operations, Finance, and Administration across all three product lines: Submeter Billing, On-Demand HVAC, and Security. Ensure strong collaboration, communication, and alignment among multiple diverse Operations teams, as well as between Operations and other departments across the organization. Provide operational expertise, analysis, and recommendations that improve performance, streamline processes, and strengthen the customer experience. Establish, implement, and continuously refine data-focused KPIs to inform decision making, evaluate both team and individual performance, and drive accountability. Lead, manage, and coach six Manager- and Director-level direct reports, fostering a high-performing, empowered, and engaged leadership team. Oversee a global Operations workforce of 50+ employees across the United States and India, ensuring consistent performance, quality, and culture alignment across all regions. Set strategic goals for the Operations function and ensure alignment with Genea’s broader business objectives. Develop, document, and implement scalable company processes, SOPs, playbooks and best practices that support rapid growth and operational excellence. Leverage AI capabilities, tools, and automation to improve efficiency, enhance team effectiveness, and elevate the Operations function. Collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team to inform and contribute to short- and long-term organizational planning, strategy development, and execution. Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. Proven success overseeing multiple diverse teams and driving strong collaboration both within Operations and across cross-functional departments. Strong people leadership skills with a demonstrated track record of managing, developing, and scaling global teams. Ability to establish, manage, and prioritize multiple complex projects, with excellence in project planning, execution, and follow-through. Experience building, maintaining, and evolving operational KPIs and performance reporting to support data-driven decision making. Technically savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools and platforms. Deep knowledge of AI capabilities and a proven track record implementing AI tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong attention to detail, a high sense of urgency, and an entrepreneurial mindset suited for a fast-paced, lean, high-growth organization. Experience leading organizational change and driving operational transformation is highly desired. Estimated Salary Range: $250-300K base salary + performance bonus The salary range listed is our best estimate based on the role's requirements and market conditions. The final offer may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to own the strategy and execution for our core Access Control product line. In this role, you will serve as the primary product leader for our access control solutions, driving the product vision from customer discovery through delivery. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver innovative features that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role reports directly to the Head of Product and plays a critical role in Genea's continued growth and market expansion. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Vision Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Access Control product line Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product direction Develop data-driven prioritization frameworks to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility Translate business goals into actionable product requirements and user stories Customer Discovery & Research Lead customer feedback interviews and discovery sessions to deeply understand user needs and pain points Synthesize qualitative and quantitative customer insights into actionable product opportunities Partner with sales and customer success teams to gather voice-of-customer feedback at scale Validate product hypotheses through prototyping, user testing, and iterative experimentation Product Development & Delivery Author comprehensive product requirements documents (PRDs) and collaborate with design on user experience solutions Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure successful delivery Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on customer value and strategic alignment Define success metrics and KPIs, and measure product performance post-launch Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the subject matter expert for Access Control, communicating product updates to internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market strategies, positioning, and product launches Support sales enablement by creating product collateral and participating in customer-facing meetings when needed Mentor and guide junior product team members, fostering a culture of product excellence Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS or technology environment Demonstrated experience with product management tools including Productboard, Jira, and product discovery methodologies Proficiency with design collaboration tools such as Figma and Canva Strong track record of conducting customer interviews and translating insights into successful products Experience developing and managing product roadmaps with clear prioritization rationale Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Strong analytical skills with experience making data-driven product decisions Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone; Atlanta area strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience in physical security, access control, video surveillance, or related industries Familiarity with enterprise security systems and Fortune 1000 customer requirements Experience leveraging AI and machine learning capabilities in product development Knowledge of IoT platforms, cloud architecture, and hardware-software integration Experience with agile/scrum methodologies in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field Compensation & Benefits Estimated Salary Range: $150,000-175,000 The salary range listed is our best estimate based on the role's requirements and market conditions.
