Your expertise in areas such as cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and managed IT services will help you uncover client challenges, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure a seamless handoff to delivery. Here's What You'll Be Doing - Lead discovery conversations with clients to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and desired outcomes. - Assess and document clients’ existing infrastructure, applications, and operational workflows to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. - Design tailored, scalable, and cost‑effective managed services solutions that align with client needs and long‑term goals. - Develop and deliver compelling solution proposals that clearly communicate value, technical strategy, and expected benefits. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, and Support teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with FusionTek’s capabilities. - Stay current on emerging technologies and consult with internal teams to enhance our service offerings and maintain a competitive edge. - Educate internal teams on new solutions, sales strategies, deployment methods, and how these offerings integrate into our existing service portfolio. Requirements Education - High School Diploma required - Bachelor’s Degree in an IT‑related field preferred ️ Technical Skills - 5+ years of technical support experience in an MSP environment REQUIRED (Please note that backgrounds exclusively in SaaS, enterprise software, or general IT sales will not be considered for this specific role) - 2–3 years of Sales Engineer experience, or equivalent solutions‑focused technical role - Strong knowledge of desktop and server operating systems - Deep understanding of networking concepts and design (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, firewalls) - Extensive experience designing cloud solutions (O365, Azure, Azure AD, Intune) - Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices - Experience with RMM tools (Datto RMM is a plus) - Experience with Autotask PSA is a plus - Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS‑102) is a plus - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305) is a plus ⭐ Other Skills & Abilities - Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Self‑motivated, proactive, and a strong advocate for client success Benefits At FusionTek, we truly believe our people are our most valuable asset. Unlike internal IT roles that support a single organization with one technology stack and familiar users, MSP technicians manage multiple client environments with varying technology stacks, priorities, and service expectations all in a single day. Success in this role requires the ability to pivot and adapt to different client environments quickly, requires strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and accountability. What You Will Do Client Support & Troubleshooting Resolve escalated support requests and complex technical issues. Handle break/fix issues, application installations, and user-level configuration changes. Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, networking, server, and cloud-related problems. Provide remote and onsite support for client environments. Infrastructure & Systems Administration Configure and support Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments. Assist with Hyper-V host setup, server administration, networking, and security tasks. Troubleshoot and deploy SonicWall firewalls. Manage networking switches and access points. (Datto Experience PLUS!) Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, Datto BCDR, SaaS Backup, and other modern technologies implemented across client environments. Team Collaboration & Mentorship Provide guidance and mentorship to Level I technicians. Collaborate with the technical team to deliver exceptional service to clients. Escalate tickets appropriately and contribute to shared technical knowledge. Documentation & Process Use Autotask ticketing system to document, monitor, update, and escalate tickets accurately and on time. Maintain and update the documentation platform so procedures, configurations, and client details remain current. Ensure clients receive clear, professional communication throughout the support process. 🎓 Experience & Qualifications CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ required.
