Lead execution of security programs and manage compliance and risk tracking across multiple domains. | Experience in security program management, compliance initiatives like SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and ability to communicate complex risks to executives. | About Fluidstack We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it. We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI. We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply! How We Operate Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done. Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible. First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins. Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward. The Security Team Examples of key problems the team is working on You're securing the frontier of AI. The model weights training on our infrastructure are the most valuable and most targeted artifacts in technology, and we're standing up the compute to hold them faster than anyone ever has. A breach isn't a leak, it's the frontier walking out the door. Build the entire security program from scratch. Most leaders inherit someone else's system and spend a career patching it. Here you own it end to end, bare metal to boardroom, as we scale across continents. Your threat surface is measured in gigawatts. The customers running on our infrastructure are building the most consequential technology in human history, and being responsible for the physical and logical security of that work makes everything else feel small. Role Scope Run the security program's execution across physical, logical, and datacenter security, turning a fast-growing set of initiatives into tracked workstreams with owners, deadlines, and no dropped threads. Drive cross-team security deliverables (bare-metal hardening, access control, incident response readiness, compliance evidence) to closure across engineering, datacenter operations, and IT. Stand up the operating rhythm of the security org: reviews, risk tracking, audit and certification timelines, and the reporting that keeps leadership and customers current. Quarterback security requirements into new site builds and customer onboarding so controls land before compute does, not after. Own the metrics and status that show where the program is exposed, what is on track, and what needs an escalation this week. What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. You've run technical program management for a security or infrastructure org, holding engineers and external partners to deadlines they signed up for. You've driven a security or compliance initiative (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or a customer security review) from kickoff to evidence without losing the thread across teams. You translate between security engineers and executives, distilling a sprawling risk picture into a decision and a next step. You've coordinated incident response or audit timelines where a slipped date had real consequences, and you kept the trains running. You track commitments, risks, and open items as a habit, so nothing critical lives only in someone's head. Bonus: physical security or datacenter security programs. Model-weight or high-value-asset protection. Security tooling rollouts. A security certification (CISSP, CISM). We are committed to pay equity and transparency. Manage construction, engineering, and professional services contract management within the Design, Engineering & Construction organization. | Experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, and supply chain operations with strong communication across legal, finance, and construction stakeholders. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI. We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply! How We Operate • Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done. • Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible. • First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins. • Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward. The Construction Team Examples of key problems the team is working on • Put gigawatts in the ground, faster than anyone has. We're delivering one of the largest data center buildouts of its kind, with many sites running at once. Traditional construction management breaks at this scale, so we're building the model that replaces it. • Throw out traditional construction and invent how gigawatts get built. Tons of tools, layers of process, and administrative drag don't get you there. You'll strip all of that out and win by solving the real problem and beating the goal, not by managing toward it. • Productize the data center so we can build it a thousand times. You'll turn one-off construction into a repeatable, modular build, where the hundredth site goes up faster and cleaner than the first. That repeatability is the only way to reach the scale we're targeting. Role Scope • Own construction, engineering, and professional services contract management within the Design, Engineering & Construction org, including the tooling that runs it. • Partner with Contracts leadership and business leaders on complex operations and spend initiatives, and keep deal-to-contract policies and control frameworks compliant. • Build contract templates and clause libraries, and own the contract review process end to end. • Deliver on budget planning and financial commitment monitoring, and drive resolution of key issues with legal, risk, and leadership. • Act as the liaison between Project Controls, Construction Managers, and general contractors to enforce contracts in the field. • Optimize the quote-to-signature process, and share best practices and training across functional programs. What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. • You've worked in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, and supply chain operations. • You structure deals well and keep complex, multi-stakeholder contracting clean and compliant. • You build playbooks and clause libraries, and you improve the process continuously. • You work fluently in Google Workspace and an e-signing tool such as Adobe Sign. • You communicate and present clearly across legal, finance, and construction stakeholders. • Bonus: Construction or data center projects. GMP contract delivery. SAP, SRM, or BW reporting. Contracts playbook development. Salary & Benefits • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity). • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms. • Health, dental, and vision insurance. • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms. The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options. Lead global sourcing strategy and supplier negotiations for energy infrastructure components. | Experience negotiating large-scale supply agreements with tier-1 energy hardware manufacturers and managing global supply chains with cross-border logistics. | Role Scope • Own the global sourcing strategy for batteries, solar PV panels, and inverters: from supplier identification and qualification through contract execution and delivery against construction timelines. • Negotiate long-term supply agreements with tier-1 manufacturers across batteries, solar, and power electronics, covering volume pricing, payment terms, warranty provisions, and delivery SLAs. • Build and maintain should-cost models for all three product categories, tracking lithium, silicon, and copper commodity pricing and adjusting sourcing strategy ahead of market moves. • Run supplier business reviews and hold partners accountable to quality standards, financial health thresholds, and geopolitical risk criteria, with dual-source coverage across critical categories. • Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Legal, and the sustainability team to keep procurement timelines locked to construction schedules and ESG supplier criteria applied consistently. • Coordinate with logistics and customs teams to manage cross-border shipments, lead time buffers, and import compliance across suppliers in China, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. • You've personally negotiated and closed large-scale supply agreements with tier-1 energy hardware manufacturers, covering batteries, solar PV, or inverters, and you can point to the commercial terms you moved. • You understand BESS, solar PV systems, and power electronics well enough to challenge a supplier's spec, catch a cost model that doesn't add up, and hold your own in a technical negotiation. • You've managed global supply chains with suppliers across China, South Korea, or Southeast Asia, including Incoterms selection, cross-border logistics, and import compliance, without losing schedule. • You've built should-cost models from scratch and used them to drive supplier negotiations, not just to report cost after the fact. • You catch supply risk before it lands on the schedule: financial health flags, capacity constraints, geopolitical exposure, and single-source dependencies are things you track continuously, not reactively. • Bonus: Data center, utility-scale, or large-scale industrial infrastructure sourcing. IEC and UL certification requirements for energy storage and solar equipment. ERP fluency (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent procurement certification. Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business degree. Salary & Benefits • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity). • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms. • Health, dental, and vision insurance. • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms. The base salary range for this position is $220,000 - $290,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options. We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
