FlexSteel embodies teamwork with a focus on hiring top talent and developing employees.   SUMMARY The Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing all material handling, inventory control, and supply flow operations to ensure production runs efficiently. This role coordinates closely with purchasing, planning, and operations to maintain optimal inventory levels, control costs, and support uninterrupted manufacturing. The individual in this position must use initiative and judgment arranging job details to achieve predetermined objectives.   The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   * Maintains accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and implementing strategies to prevent overstocking or shortages.  * Oversee the storage and handling of materials in operations ensuring proper labeling and organization.  * Supervise Inspection of incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards.  * Collaborate with production teams, logistics providers, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.  * Manage investigations into resolving inventory discrepancies * Implement new processes and procedures to ensure the ERP system accurately reflects the current state of inventory.
