Lead and optimize manufacturing processes for valve production, oversee machining and welding operations, implement assembly processes, and provide technical leadership. | Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience in metalworking or valve production, proficiency in SolidWorks, CNC machining, welding, and continuous improvement. | Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - Metalworking & Valve production Position Overview Based in Santa Fe, TX, we are a small but growing manufacturing company. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead and enhance our manufacturing processes for new and existing valve products. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency and ensuring product quality through effective engineering solutions and leadership. • This role could be a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer that is looking to move into an Engineering Manager role. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for valve production. • Utilize CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, to design and improve components and systems. • Oversee CNC machining and welding operations to enhance production capabilities. • Develop and implement assembly processes that ensure product quality and efficiency. • Conduct continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff. • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for manufacturing processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and existing product enhancements. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a metalworking or valve production environment. • Proficient in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. • Strong background in CNC machining and welding techniques. • Experience with assembly processes and manufacturing methods. • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • Familiarity with creating and managing technical documentation and SOPs. We have our products available in stores nationwide and are continuing to grow! We are looking to add an on-site Accounting Manager to our team, who will report to the Controller out of our Tinley Park, IL office.
