Lead product and portfolio strategies across development lifecycle and coordinate cross-functional teams. | Master's or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in product management or market analysis, plus expertise in ML roadmaps and data analytics. | Provide leadership and initiative in the overall design, development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans. Leading development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience. Leading, development and implementation of marketing, sales and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes. Independently lead needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance. Clearly demonstrated ability to perform fact-based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights. Ability to lead completion of needed advanced data models and analytics. Identifying and prioritizing new features, including market analysis, business case development and driving prioritization. Lead/execute complex new product development initiatives across large, cross-functional work teams. Actively coaches’ others in less senior positions. Requirements Master’s degree in Product Marketing, Economics, Business or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis, research or equivalent experience. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Product Marketing, Economics, Business or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis, research or equivalent experience in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience. The position requires experience with the following: knowledge of Model lifecycle; knowledge of Data Pipeline Flow; ML Roadmap feasibility; Storytelling with Data; Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact-based data analysis; expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring & solving skills; superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills; strong project management and project management leadership experience. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. A directly related master’s degree is equivalent to two (2) years’ experience. Lead a cross-functional product team execution from discovery to delivery Prioritize, scope and iterate on our product needs Attain a deep understanding of our customer behavior based on qualitative and quantitative insights Build empathy for different user types through research and data to drive product experience Independently build a roadmap, and drive product requirements Leverage user research and stay up to date on UX best practices Develop deep understanding of retailer technical systems and operations to inform product strategy and development Partner with engineering to influence technical solutioning and architecture to optimize for speed and quality Identify, manage, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization Co-manage development, monitoring, and communication of program level objectives and key results Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in Product Marketing, Economics, business, finance, marketing or other directly related discipline. Minimum Experience Five to eight (5-8) years directly related experience in Product Management, Market analysis, planning, research or equivalent. Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact-based data analysis. Demonstrated computer skills. Strong basic management, human relations, communication, and analytical skills. More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. Excellent business acumen, organizational awareness, human relations, and communication skills required. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.
