How Do You Fit In? Fabletics is looking for a forward-thinking, passionate Database Engineering Intern to play a vital role in our Enterprise data services team. The ideal candidate will work on Transactional SQL server data in our 24/7 throughput environment to assist in the development of data workflow applications. The Database Engineer Intern will work closely with the Enterprise Data Services team to support prototyping a cloud product feed project that will enhance our current ElasticSearch document DB product refreshes. In this project, we will partner closely with application development teams. At Fabletics you can expect to use SQL and ElasticSearch every day. While these are our defaults, you will have the flexibility to use tools that allow you to best fulfill your role. Additionally, we strongly believe in the need for ongoing education and will encourage you to explore new technologies and modeling methods regularly. What You Will Do • Develop queries, views, triggers, and other database objects to support internally hosted applications. • Develop and implement stored procedures and functions using TSQL. • Support developing product feed to cloud databases (like ElasticSearch) that can be consumed by API and applications. • Assist in the development of database integration workflows. • Collaborate with other database personnel across our organization to share best practices, learn new techniques, and champion an organizational culture where data is central to decision-making.
