Lead a billing team, manage billing operations, improve processes, prepare reports, and communicate with clients and partners. | Bachelor's degree, 8-10+ years law firm billing experience with 3+ years presenting reports, 4-5+ years managing a team, e-billing software expertise, and strong Excel skills. | A mid-sized, fast-paced, high-volume law firm based about 30 miles northwest of Los Angeles, California, with over 10 offices and over 100 attorneys, is hiring a Director of Billing to lead a team of 10 billing representatives, manage daily operations of the billing department, provide expertise regarding the firm's billings and collections, improve processes and procedures as needed, as well as prepare & present applicable reports to firm partners, This position can be REMOTE, HYBRID or ON SITE, but ALL candidates MUST LIVE IN CALIFORNIA. Main responsibilities include reviewing and correcting client invoice errors prior to finalization and distribution to clients, managing client billings and collections processes and executing within firm deadlines, communicating with internal and external clients, developing and implementing improvements to billing processes, policies, procedures, SOPs, tools, etc., preparing & presenting billing reports on a scheduled periodic basis, managing and mentoring staff, and preparing budgets and statements. REQUIRED: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field • 8-10+ years of billing experience for attorneys at a law firm with at least 50 attorneys (NOT a debt collections firm), including 3+ years of experience presenting complex billing reports on a periodic basis • 4-5+ years of experience managing a team • e-billing law firm experience • Experience with the following law firm software: Ascent, Collaborati, Bottomline, TyMetrix 360, Counsellink, or Quovant. Other similar software applications will be considered • Strong Excel skills including use of pivots, lookups, etc. • Must be customer-centric able to communicate well with internal and external clients Experience with paperless billing systems and tools is PREFERRED. #IND2
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets, build client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide market insights. | Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, 5+ years of sales/business development in biopharmaceutical or related industries, industry contacts, travel willingness, and knowledge of cGMP. | Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to drive revenue growth for the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing B2B sales within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing, bioprocessing, genetic medicine, pharmaceutical, or related industries, with a strong understanding of bioprocessing manufacturing technologies and applications. This role involves meeting or exceeding sales targets by expanding business within existing accounts, identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as creating and executing sales strategies for leads generated by marketing programs. This role actively participates in providing customer- and market-based input to product and services roadmaps and marketing programs and engaging with management in periodic business planning and financial forecasting meetings. Job Requirement: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline (biology, chemistry, or related field); advanced degree preferred. • Proven track record with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in sales and or business development in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing, bioprocessing, genetic medicine, pharmaceutical, or related fields. • Prior experience with biopharmaceutical manufacturing contract service providers (CRO, CMO, and or CDMO) is preferred. • Extensive existing biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry contacts/network is preferred. • Willingness to travel within the U.S. • Strong business acumen with solid understanding • Passion in sales and high self-discipline. • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment where a self-motivated individual can excel. • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals. • Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and changing business landscapes. • Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
