Lead development and support of healthcare web applications using React and mentor junior engineers. | Requires 5+ years enterprise web app experience with React; healthcare and Ruby experience preferred. | We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer, and we'd like you to consider joining us! eVisit rearchitects the very nature of how healthcare is delivered. We help our customers design care pathways that lower the total cost to deliver care, increase access, and enhance both patient and provider experiences- all while strengthening clinical, operational and financial performance. Requirements: Develop and support proprietary applications, websites, and services using React Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external members to deliver products and features on-time Maintain ownership of the codebase architecture and quality Develop new software to help modernize Healthcare IT Mentor junior and mid-level engineers Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing Work with 3rd party vendors and customers to support their hardware on the eVisit platform Evaluate processes, tools, and approaches to potentially incorporate into how we develop products to ensure we are always learning and improving Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: 5+ years of experience building enterprise web applications Strong proficiency in React, Redux, RTK, and their ecosystems Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Deep understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design patterns, performance, and scale Experience with the following is a plus: WebSocket, WebRTC, Twilio, video conferencing protocols and systems Driven to own the process and deliver the solution Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve strategy based on research, data, and industry trends Strong communication and organizational skills Nice to have: Experience working in a regulated environment (Healthcare experience HL7, EMRs) Experience working with Ruby Experience working with EHR and EMR platforms.
