Their cutting-edge cooling systems are engineered to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and reliability in the most demanding conditions. Position Summary: We are partnering with our client to identify a seasoned Technical Operations Director with extensive experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Niagara Framework controls. This pivotal role will oversee the technical operations of data center HVAC systems nationwide, driving strategic direction, optimization, and continuous improvement to meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement technical strategies to enhance the performance, efficiency, and scalability of HVAC systems in data center environments. • BMS & Niagara Controls Oversight: Lead the integration, optimization, and troubleshooting of BMS platforms, with a strong emphasis on Niagara Framework (N4/AX), ensuring seamless operation across all facilities. • Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key vendors and stakeholders, ensuring the timely delivery of components and services. • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for system optimization, predictive maintenance, and energy efficiency, leveraging data analytics and fault detection diagnostics (FDD). Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications or degrees are a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in technical operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing HVAC systems in data center or mission-critical environments. • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with BMS platforms, particularly Tridium Niagara Framework (N4/AX), and familiarity with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LON. • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
