The Account Manager is responsible for achieving annual territory case and Net Margin for ESSITY Gordon Food Service Team quotas and specifically the assigned divisions with Gordon Food Service. This role is also responsible for establishing product mix goals with GFS to further penetrate the division and key market segments. This will be a remote position responsible for mainly covering Texas. The ideal candidate should live in the Houston area or within the aligned Essity Regional structure with ability to travel often. What Will You Do Trains distributor personnel, and performs administrative functions as assigned Consistently achieves Essity Gordon Food Service divisional case sales goals Develops joint marketing/sales plans for assigned Gordon Food Service division Targets, qualifies and develops new end-user business within assigned division Demonstrates knowledge of competitive offerings especially as they relate to Essity products. Can sell the advantages of ESSITY products versus these competitive offerings Gathers information about territory market conditions related to competitors, products, pricing, promotions, customers, quality concerns, etc. Communicates significant information to their sales team and Key Account Manager Develops and conducts training for Distributor Sales Representatives – delete/ duplicate Conducts distributor sales meetings, works trade shows, initiates sales blitz’s and performs sales seminars, throughout their territory Maintains up-to-date CRM for key end-users, target distributors, and sales contacts Submits monthly highlight report to the assigned Sales Manager Performs special projects as assigned by the Sales Manager Assists teammates within the district as directed by the Sales Manager Who You Are Bachelor’s degree Business, Sales or Marketing. Experience in lieu of education will be considered. 3-5 years of sales experience; 2-3 years of account management Must have having leading technical capabilities to work in a blended selling role and strong CRM experience; with technical competencies such as OmniChannels, trends in eCommerce, and digital sales Ability to work virtually with customers and internal teams Experience using MS Office, MS Teams and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Proficient in presenting virtual presentations via online platforms such as Microsoft Teams. Experience working CRM systems (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics) preferred Proven negotiating, persuasion and influencing skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships on all levels, team player, and embraces change Financial, Business and Technical acumen, excellent communication skills Ability to travel 30% domestic travel. About the Role Essity Health and Medical Solutions is looking for an experienced sales director for our open National Field Sales Director, US Medical role. In this position you will be responsible for driving profitable growth within the areas of wound care, compression therapy, and orthopedics. The ideal individual will have strong communication skills and the ability to drive action throughout the organization. This individual will be tasked with enhancing the capabilities of the sales organization and driving accountability to business targets. This role can be located anywhere in the continental United States and will require an average travel of 60%. What You Will Do • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and achieve regional sales quota. • Direct sales forecasting activities, hold team accountable to forecast via CRM, set performance goals accordingly. • Motivate, lead, and inspire field sales personnel to perform to their best abilities. Provide necessary training, coaching, and conduct regular field visits to develop clinical and sales employees. • Remove barriers and impediments to success, within scope. Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are followed. Acts as a conduit for information to the home office. • Drive to exceed targets for sales, expense controls, and account penetration. Develop robust and compelling strategic business plans updated on a quarterly basis including plans on new opportunities. • Monitor, guide, and coach sales team to achieve business targets, improve selling skills (strategic and tactical) and productivity, and build sustainable customer relationships. • Identify customer, competitor, and other regional issues and communicate to appropriate personnel. Attend trade shows and sales meetings as needed. • Communicate, model, and monitor conformance to company ethical standards of conduct. Who You Are • Minimum of 10 years medical sales experience • Minimum of 5 years of successful people management experience • Must have a Bachelor’s degree • Possess a strong track record of hiring top talent and developing sales representatives and managers • Prior experience developing successful regional business plans inclusive of budgets • Strong goal setting and implementation skills demonstrated by a clear record of accomplishments in prior personal and professional pursuits • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office and sales tracking database systems.
