This role is ideal for a strong legal drafter who may not yet have direct guardianship experience but is eager to learn. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Manage electronic court filings, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and maintain organized legal documentation. | Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, legal filing experience, familiarity with legal software, and strong attention to detail. | Legal Executive Assistant (E-Filing) Equivity is seeking a full-time Legal Executive Assistant (LEA) to support attorneys by managing electronic court filings using a client’s specialized e-filing software. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working within structured systems to ensure filings are accurate, timely, and properly recorded. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm PT, with a 30-minute lunch break. What You’ll Do • Prepare and submit electronic court filings using a client’s designated e-filing platform. • Upload finalized documents, enter required case information, and select appropriate filing codes. • Review documents prior to filing to ensure formatting, signatures, and attachments are complete (no legal drafting). • Monitor filing status, confirm acceptance, and address rejections or clerk notices as needed. • Coordinate corrections and resubmissions when filings are rejected. • File and maintain proofs of filing, confirmations, and related court notices. • Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submission in accordance with attorney instructions. • Maintain organized filing records and documentation within client systems. • Communicate filing status and confirmations to attorneys, paralegals, and internal teams. • Provide limited administrative support related to filings and case coordination. About You • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience). • Experience in a legal administrative, legal assistant, or litigation support role preferred. • Direct experience with electronic court filing systems is strongly preferred. • Comfortable working within specialized legal software and following structured workflows. • Highly detail-oriented with strong quality control skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Able to manage repetitive, deadline-driven tasks with consistency and accuracy. • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining responsive. • Professional home office setup.
