Under the direction of the Director of National Marketing. The Marketing Project Manager will produce on-target deliverables with a high level of accuracy and commitment to stakeholder needs. Expert-level organization and communication skills will be necessary to manage the day-to-day interactions with internal and external stakeholders, representing all levels within the organization. The Marketing Project Manager will apply strategic marketing thinking to all new projects, and deliver outcomes that support the success of the organization within the competitive landscape. Please note: Our current onsite work schedule requires attendance from Monday through Thursday each week, with remote work permitted on Fridays. WHO YOU ARE: Knowledgeable.Through previous work, youve been exposed to digital and print marketing projects and have been involved in projects supporting the performance of a website. WHAT YOULL DO: Marketing Project Management (75%) Manages same store project-based marketing initiatives (signage, wayfinding, renovation etc) independently across multi-faceted print and digital channels, supporting a national portfolio of >285 rental communities across >10 markets. Supports the in-market Sales/Marketing team with a variety of new store requests, such as full asset rebrands, new market entry, and acquisition/development assets. Including: scheduling, attending, and delivering notes and action items consistently throughout the project. Defines project scope and prioritization through direct stakeholder communication, and establishes a timeline by coordinating resources internally, cross-functionally, and alongside external partners. Owns the marketing production timeline and communication plan for all projects and interfaces directly with all stakeholders (both internal and external) regarding expectations and challenges. Collaborates regularly with the Design and Digital team to support key marketing initiatives (Media (photos, videos, 3D tours) acquisition, EA.com content, signage etc.) Reports on and monitors media acquisition efforts including photo & video coverage, pace, and budget. Oversees and participates in the coordination of media sprints (pull data, manage photographer payments, track assets, upload content). Strategic Support and Analysis (10%) Supports the Director of Marketing through strategic analysis of program performance, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Delivers executable recommendations on vendor management, media management and branding consistency. Provides data-driven recommendations to improve efficiencies across channels. Research and identify trends and technologies in support of new production partners. Communication and Training (15%) Designs communication strategy plans to be published both internally and externally, supporting marketing team initiatives and strategy. Creates and delivers presentations to support marketing initiatives as needed. Represents the organization in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers, vendors, and the general public. Performs other duties as necessary. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field with at least 5 years of business experience. S ignificant project management experience delivering successful projects across a large organization. Basic understanding of economic, financial, and accounting principles. Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships (both one-on-one as well as in a team setting), and the ability to inspire, coach, mentor, and motivate. Ability to think creatively when problem solving for new solutions. Excellent / persuasive w ritten and presentation skills. Ability to multitask, be flexible, and manage multiple projects at once. Comfortable w ith ambiguity / undefined situations. Moderate analytical skills are necessary with proficiency in Excel and Google Office Suite. Salary: $83,000 - $101,000 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary 10.5% annual bonus is provided. What You'll Be Doing As a General Maintenance Director, you will oversee the hands-on maintenance for Equity Residential properties by managing service requests, inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
