Location: Remote/Travel-Based – National Coverage (Multiple Regions/Districts) Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours, with flexibility for travel. Occasional weekend or after-hours support may be needed for key project setups or customer needs. Primary Responsibilities • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for climate control equipment (including HVAC, dehumidification, and more) across a variety of vertical markets. • Support sales activities by assisting reps with customer-facing engagements, product recommendations, and application-based solution development. • Conduct job walks, site assessments, and needs evaluations to size and design appropriate temporary climate control solutions. • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. • Assist in quoting specialized equipment packages tailored to customer project specifications. • Lead project management efforts for large or complex job setups, including coordination of logistics, commissioning and operation. • Deliver ongoing product and application training to internal sales and operations teams to improve technical capabilities. • Stay current with emerging technologies and product innovations by collaborating with internal product teams and manufacturers. • Participate in sales presentations with internal teams, offering technical credibility and application expertise. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred. • Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC or climate control-related roles. • Previous experience in a customer-facing pre-sales technical support role strongly preferred. Physical Requirements: • Ability to walk job sites, climb stairs/ladders, and evaluate equipment setups. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically. • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • This is a safety-sensitive position; candidates must pass a 10-panel drug screen. EquipmentShare is searching for a District Operations Manager to help us oversee rental yards throughout our markets in Austin, TX, Tyler, TX, San Antonio, TX, and Shreveport, LA. Primary Responsibilities • Lead by example and inspire others to perform to their highest potential, maintaining a professional appearance at all times. • Responsible for building team - source, interview, hire, train and develop amazing people. Conduct reviews and performance evaluations as necessary to produce positive results. Assist location personnel in training for all system requirements. • Ensure maximum performance at multiple locations. • Conduct monthly profit and loss reviews with General Manager and Assistant General Manager to understand their locations business and business trends. Identify and recommend areas for improvement and future revenue opportunities and estimate profit projections. • Monitor metrics including, but not limited to: equipment utilization; underperforming assets; warranty recovery; billed mechanical hours; aged receivables and customer satisfaction. • Effectively, clearly and accurately communicate information to keep location managers informed of issues. Provide action items to improve issues with a sense of urgency. • Identify areas of conflict and determine and implement the appropriate solution for the situation. • Establish reasonable and measurable goals with well defined expectations for the position and team members. • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations.
