Primary Duties & Responsibilities • Lead the strategy, management, and governance of Tableau Cloud and Power BI platforms. • Define and execute the long-term roadmap for enterprise data visualization tools. • Ensure seamless integration with Snowflake and alignment with data architecture standards. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. • Establish platform governance, usage guidelines, workspace management, and content lifecycle policies. • Implement and promote BI development standards and best practices across Envista Operating Companies and functions. • Oversee performance tuning of reports, dashboards, and backend queries. • Monitor system health, usage metrics, and capacity to ensure platform reliability and scalability. • Partner with business units, analysts, and data engineers to translate business needs into effective visual analytics. • Conduct stakeholder sessions to identify gaps, opportunities, and adoption barriers. • Lead enablement efforts through training programs, documentation, and support for self-service BI users. • Oversee user provisioning, role-based access control, and data security compliance on both Tableau Cloud and Power BI. • Work with InfoSec and Compliance teams to align with regulatory standards Job Requirements • 10–14 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or enterprise data platforms. • 4–6 years of leadership/management experience in BI platform administration or visualization strategy with Tableau and/or Power BI • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (required). • Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Analytics, or equivalent) is preferred • Tableau Cloud (site admin-level expertise, project/workbook optimization, permissioning, extracts). • Microsoft Power BI (Workspace management, licensing, DAX, Power Query, datasets, Row-level security). • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake – understanding of warehouses, shares, roles, and performance tuning. • Familiarity with data modeling/transformation layers • Understanding of how data pipelines interact with dashboards; experience collaborating with data engineers. • Experience with REST APIs for Tableau/Power BI, Python scripting for automation, and CI/CD for dashboard deployment. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement. • Strong project management and organizational abilities. • Strategic mindset with an eye for user experience and adoption. The Automation/Controls Lead is a hands-on leadership role at Ormco that is responsible for leading a team of automation/controls engineer on overseeing the design, implementation and maintenance of automated systems for Spark’s global manufacturing. Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of engineers/contractors and other personnel involved in automation control systems. • Collaborate with project manager, mechanical design engineer and software group to develop a low-risk and robust machine design. • Program all software for unique projects with a variety of needs (PLC, HMI/SCADA, Servo, Robotics, Vision, Laser, etc.) • Provide improvement and sustaining engineering support for existing production lines • Use automated solutions to develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing and inspection processes and procedures. • Support and/or perform equipment, process validations and testing to internal procedures. • Initiate equipment modifications to improve productivity and product quality. • Work with outside vendors to coordinate the development of manufacturing equipment. • Work closely with maintenance department to improve machine reliability/reduce downtime and define equipment maintenance requirements. • Assist with procurement • Assist with resolving issues with suppliers. • Assist with repairing equipment and tooling. • Assist with performing process failure mode effects analyses. • Work with Operations and outside Vendors to create methods/process to improve capacities with production. • Document Cost Savings • Work with management to establish project timeliness, project justification, and budget forecasts. • Must demonstrate responsibility for the quality and financial aspects of the company. • Pursue and participate in company LEAN initiatives. Qualifications Job Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in automation and/or process machinery controls design. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field from an accredited university. • Must have 2+ years of experience with Industrial Vision System such as Cognex or Keyence. • Must have 2+ years of experience with PLC/HMI programming. • Must have 2+ years of industrial robotics experience. • Must have 1+ years of experience with .NET or CPP or any other object-oriented programming language. • Must have 1+ years of experience leading a team of contractors or engineers.
