This position is the liaison throughout a transition between the de novo team, local employees, and home office. The Administrator De Novo oversees and supports the orientation and training of new employees to company policies and standard operating procedures. This position will implement Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software, company culture, and all other aspects of the start-up plan. The Administrator De Novo is the interim, local chief executive agent and contributes to the overall success of the company by leading the local provider in a better way to care for the community in which it serves. This position is responsible for ensuring that the execution of branch operations are completed daily. The administrator de novo effectively manages branch operations, services, personnel performance, and office management ongoing This role will require overnight travel 2 to 3 weeks per month, and will work remotely when not onsite at a De Novo (start up) location. Travel days are typically Monday returning Thursday after 5pm or Friday am. Responsibilities • The De Novo Administrator leads and supports the assimilation, hiring, and training process for identified de novo locations • Laison throughout a transition between the de novo team, local employees, and home office. • Oversees and supports the orientation and training of new employees to Enhabit policies and standard operating procedures • Implement Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software, Enhabit culture, and all other aspects of the start-up plan. • Responsible for ensuring that the execution of branch operations are completed daily • Effectively manages branch operations, services, personnel performance, and office management ongoing. • Must be able to lead a highly-functioning team providing guidance to ensure start-ups progress as planned. • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and possess a high standard of work ethic. Qualifications • Must be a Registered Nurse and able to travel 75% or more per year • Must have demonstrated experience in health service administration with at least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity • Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office • Demonstrated experience in a home health care or hospice program • Demonstrated experience in management is preferred • Must be organized with the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, across all levels of the organization • Must be able to convey thoughts in a way easily understood • Must be able to utilize computers and technology to present information • Must be able to prepare and deliver educational material to employees and community referral sources • Must be able to maintain a positive, professional, and friendly demeanor in a stressful atmosphere Must be adept at interacting and communicating with a diverse group of individuals • Must possess a passion for helping patients • Must be organized and detail oriented • Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Must be self-motivated, possess a high standard of professional ethics, and comply with accepted professional standards and practices Must possess a valid state driver license Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law Education and Experience (STATE SPECIFIC): COLORADO • Must comply with Colorado state regulation 6CCR 1011-1 (7.6) requiring 24 hours of training in the first 12 months if a first time administrator, 8 hours of which must be completed within the first month of employment. • Must have documented completion of a minimum of 12 clock hours per year at a health administration seminar or through an approved provider. Identify and penetrate market opportunities, and provide strategic, in-field support for their team to achieve revenue and admission goals. Represent the company in activities involving professional contacts to apprise them of the availability of offered Medicare services. Monitor program execution and service provision. Manage the tenets of the program, develop professional relationships, and effectively support the company care teams. Qualifications • Must have a high school diploma. • Must have demonstrated related field experience. • Must have demonstrated experience and understand federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing the operations of Medicare certified home health and hospice. • Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Education And Experience, Preferred • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or healthcare management is preferred. • A licensed professional with extensive field experience may be considered in lieu of direct field experience. • Related experience working with beneficiary qualifications is preferred. • Previous experience with a Medicare home health or hospice is preferred. • Management experience is preferred.
