Lead client interviews, assess R&D tax credit applicability, calculate credits, prepare documentation, manage team workflow, and ensure compliance with tax laws. | Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or 5-7 years related experience, preferably CPA or J.D. candidates, with strong knowledge of tax law and R&D credit processes. | This is a remote position. Basic Function: Work as part of multi-disciplinary team to conduct Research and Development (R&D) tax credit consulting services. Duties include leading Client interviews and discussions, assessing applicability of R&D tax credit, calculating R&D credit amount, preparing supporting documentation and reports, performing technical research at federal and state levels, and developing knowledge of R&D applications by industry. Position’s Intention: The R&D Project Manager coordinates the team assignments for efficient and timely handling of client projects by managing the workflow from beginning to end. Success Measurements: Client satisfaction, timely processing, efficient cost-effective teamwork, work performed in compliance with applicable laws. Essential Duties: • Conduct initial interviews with Client to understand operations and R&D applications of the company and to identify Qualifying Research Activities; • Preparation of accurate credit calculations, including data gathering, development of calculation template, and preparation of the related tax forms, at the federal and state level for multiple clients simultaneously in accordance with deadlines as required; • Conduct in-depth interviews with Client personnel to gain high-level understanding of qualifying activities and process of experimentation utilized by technical staff; • Preparation of thorough and accurate final reports documenting the Client’s R&D tax credit, including description of the R&D study process conducted, supporting documentation of Qualifying Research Expenses, supporting documentation of Qualifying Research Activities, and other information demonstrating the R&D activities of the Client; • Develop and sustain excellent client relationships to ensure timely reception of supporting data and perform regular status updates as the study progresses toward completion in accordance with project deadlines. • Manages the R&D supporting team members in team calls, client relations, project follow-ups and status updates, QC assignments, Project Assignments, and general production; • Supports Director with frontend client vetting and technical support toward LOE generation; this can include fielding prospective calls, emails, and creating a benefit analysis. • Reviews current tax law to keep the department up to date on R&D matters along with managing templates, template update initiatives, and ongoing team training programs. The Project Coordinator will manage and oversee all project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring timely documentation and communication. They will collaborate with various teams to optimize project efficiency and outcomes. | Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. They should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and clients effectively. | This is a remote position. Basic Function: The Project Coordinator of Cost Segregation works closely with Management, Engineers, Sales Team, and Clients to ensure that the accurate information is documented, tracked, and recorded, as well as assisting the heads of operations to ensure projects are processed in a timely manner. The main goal for this position is to process each phase of each project and develop an exceptional rapport with all parties involved for each account and assist the Senior Lead Engineers. Position’s Intention: The intention of this position is to effectively manage and oversee all project activities assigned from the beginning of each project to the completion. This involves maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, clear communication, and coordinating to ensure timely completion of each cost segregation project. The Project Coordinator will actively collaborate with operations, team leads, clients and cross functional departments to optimize efficiency and promote successful project outcomes. Success Measurements: · Project Completion – ensure projects assigned are completed within the specified timeline o Zoho Analytics review – Completion Rate by PC · Client Satisfaction – Aim to achieve a high level of client service by delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations o Client Surveys / Ratings · Effective Communication- Facilitate clear and prompt communication with client, team members involved in project o Client Surveys / Performance Reviews · Meet Production Goals o Monthly PC Production Goal Review Principal Responsibilities: · Review and discuss Project Status with Manager of Operations, Director of Engineering, team lead and QC team · Arrange and participate in meetings, conference calls regarding project scope, status updates and scheduling · Assist with all relevant project data tracking in Zoho Project Management · Update project boards and generate a weekly summary report for projects · File project documents upon receipt · Complete initial review of documents for all projects · Submit welcome emails to clients upon receipt/ issuance of the new project email · Generate and follow up on outstanding Requests for Information (RFI) as needed · Manage, organize, and update all relevant project data · Download/ Upload and Save project documentation to the respective folders on the X: Drive · Ascertain scope of work and communicate with engineering and clients on what is missing · Schedule, lead and manage kick off calls · Assist with site visit scheduling · Assemble draft and final reports · Any other administrative tasks assigned by Manager of Operations, Cost Segregation.
