Coordinate, track, report, and manage key projects and initiatives for ENGIE's BroadView EMS business, liaising between internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and resource scheduling. | Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in project management, experience managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables across teams and vendors, agile project management skills, knowledge of energy storage or renewable energy projects, and ability to work in fast-paced environments. | What You Can Expect As our Project Management Senior, reporting to the Project Manager Lead for BroadView EMS, you will operate within a cross-functional team dedicated to the development and scaling of ENGIE’s new internal EMS business, BroadView. In this dynamic and rapidly evolving environment, you will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, reporting, and managing key projects and initiatives. You will serve as a primary liaison between the BroadView EMS team and other internal stakeholders across ENGIE, ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and project milestones. Additionally, you will oversee scheduling and resource coordination to support the successful delivery of BroadView EMS initiatives. This position is based in Houston, TX and reports to the Vice President, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) What You’ll Bring • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in a project management capacity. In lieu of a four-year degree, you should hold a recognized project management certification and have at least seven (7) years of relevant experience demonstrating a strong understanding of project management principles and practices • You are experienced in managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners, including vendors, contractors, and subcontractors • You have hands-on experience using project management tools and working in agile environments, including facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives • You are knowledgeable in coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, marketing, regulatory, and operations to drive successful project outcomes • You have direct experience in energy storage or renewable energy projects • You are comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-moving environments with minimal structure • You have a strong drive for innovation and entrepreneurial thinking to support the growth of new business initiatives Additional Details • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; in office three (3) days a week • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies Compensation Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. Manage pre-construction phase activities for large renewable energy projects including RFP processes, contract negotiations, stakeholder coordination, risk assessment, and procurement management. | Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 7+ years project management in utility-scale renewable or heavy construction, PMP or equivalent certification, proficiency in project management software, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. | What You Can Expect The Project Management Senior - Preconstruction is responsible for fostering grid scale wind, solar, and storage projects through the pre-construction phase of project development. Successful execution of this position requires clear and consistent coordination of multiple project stakeholders including developers, contractors, vendors, owners, and financing partners. In this role you must have exceptional project management skills and possess the ability to successfully navigate through and resolve complex problems. Every day in this role you will provide project management coordination and support for large and complex wind, solar, and storage projects during the pre-construction phase of the project. • Manage the RFP process for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, thoroughly evaluating contractor proposals for compliance with project requirements • Support all aspects of project-related contract negotiations, including Major Equipment Supply Agreements and BOP-EPC Agreements • Coordinate and support pre-construction activities such as site studies, surveys, preliminary engineering, and estimating, as well as internal project capital expenditure approval to secure budget for project delivery scope • Coordinate and manage key project stakeholders, including internal teams (development, engineering, interconnection, power marketing) with CAPEX input requests, and including external partners (BOP EPC contractor) • Support major equipment procurement processes (modules, wind turbines, batteries, substation) and ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking to plan • Continually assess project risk, maintain the project Risk Register during the preconstruction phase, and establish effective working relationships with all parties involved in the project development and approval What You’ll Bring • A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field • Seven (7) years of project management and procurement experience in utility-scale renewable energy or heavy construction projects • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred, we welcome candidates with equivalent experience or other relevant certifications • Proficient in various project and construction management software tools, such as Procore, and fully adapted in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) • Demonstrated ability to be organized, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and able to adapt in a demanding, fast-paced, dynamic environment • Proven track record of managing projects through pre-construction, achieving results that meet all stakeholder goals, and effective problem-solving by setting priorities and staying organized • Results-oriented leader with the ability to work independently within a large matrixed organization while effectively interfacing with various cross-functional employee groups • Committed to the advancement of renewable energy solutions across North America Additional Details • This role is eligible for our hybrid in-office work policy in the Broomfield, CO office • This role requires attendance at a work site on an as needed basis • Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time • U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record, for the use of fleet cars, personal, and or hire cars when traveling, to drive to site locations and meetings • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies • Must be physically able to conduct site visits and attend project site meetings and walk renewable energy sites for extended periods of time in hot or cold weather conditions to complete job assignments Compensation Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
