We are seeking a Sr Specialist Supply Chain Management -Logistics Management to provide strategic direction across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term business priorities. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, freight, and distribution. What You Will Do • Lead, develop, and execute enterprise-wide logistics category strategies and standards that support both Operations and Project business objectives. • Partner with senior business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand evolving business requirements and align logistics strategies accordingly. • Drive strategic logistics initiatives that support operational excellence, capital projects, and business expansion opportunities across the enterprise. • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, emerging technologies, and peer benchmarks to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and value creation. • Lead supplier negotiations, contract development, and management of pricing, terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and commercial performance. • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Project teams to optimize logistics networks, improve supply chain performance, and resolve bottlenecks. • Manage contract lifecycle, including monitoring key dates, handling renewals, and updating terms or amendments as needed. • Support network optimization and logistics efficiency initiatives(e.g. improving routes, consolidating shipments) in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, and corporate governance requirements while supporting business continuity and contract utilization initiatives. • Drive contract utilization with implementation plans, metrics, reporting, and structured lookbacks to reduce leakage. Who You Are • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 7+ years of relevant experience in logistics, sourcing, or supply chain management. • Demonstrated knowledge of logistics and transportation operations, including freight management, warehousing, distribution, and expediting best practices. • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills with the ability to influence decision-making at multiple organizational levels. • Experience utilizing ERP and procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities with a focus on delivering business results. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, conflicting deadlines, and complex projects. • Professional supply chain designations (SCMP, CPSM, or equivalent) and advanced knowledge of transportation regulations, carrier rates, tariffs, and logistics compliance requirements are considered assets. Working Conditions • Office environment with occasional travel to suppliers and other Enbridge operation locations as required.
