It encompasses ownership and leadership of global strategy through to execution the brand’s owned and earned media functions. It is essential this leader demonstrate key cultural practices of growth, positivity, honesty, curiosity, innovation, speed, agility and collaboration. The role will manage a team of 7 and a matrix of agencies with team growth planned soon. Collaboration is extremely important as this leader needs to work extremely closely with brand, creative and digital functions to execute their role successfully. Responsibilities: • Integrated Marketing Strategy: concepting and developing holistic brand strategy for all brand owned and earned media • Owned media: develop strategy and execution of owned media communications that effectively communicates core codes of brand DNA in a manner that is authentic to our audience and platform. Collaborate with Creative team on creative output • Earned media: drive breakthrough activations and buzz with influencer community to significantly improve the brand’s EMV ranking and fuel growth in editorial and business press (with a focus on quality and quantity) to drive net sentiment of brand • New platforms: discover and build brand presence within emergent social and digital communities where brand can connect with next generation of consumer • Brand Campaigns: work with CMO and Brand team on developing brand campaigns and collaborations that will form the axis of our marketing calendar and make an impact with our community • Community Cultivation: oversee community management team to ensure our consumers are listen and heard. Most importantly, ensure that insights from community are being fed back into brand and go forward marketing strategies • Budget Management: responsibility for the execution and continued improvement of a significant portion of brand spend Requirements: • 10+ years of progressive experience in integrated marketing, with a strong background in owned and earned media strategy and execution • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing marketing teams (7+ members) and agency partners • Expertise in developing holistic brand strategies that align with business goals and resonate across diverse channels and audiences • Strong owned media acumen, with a track record of creating authentic, platform-specific brand communications • Demonstrated success in earned media, including influencer engagement, PR, and EMV growth across beauty or lifestyle categories • Ability to identify and grow brand presence on emerging digital and social platforms targeting next-gen consumers • Experience leading brand campaigns and cross-functional initiatives that drive cultural relevance and consumer connection • Skilled in community building and consumer engagement, with emphasis on social listening and applying insights to strategy • Strong budget management capabilities, including forecasting, optimization, and ROI analysis of significant marketing spend • Collaborative, agile, and innovative leader, with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this position. This role will play a critical part in translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth across site optimization, performance marketing, customer acquisition and retention, and customer experience. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in ecommerce, marketing, product, and customer service to provide strategic data guidance, dashboards, and recommendations. What You’ll Do • Site & Marketing Mix Analytics • Lead analysis of customer behavior across rhode’s ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Meta Checkout, TikTok Shop, etc), CRM platforms (Email/SMS), and performance marketing (Meta, TikTok, Google, Affiliates) • Monitor KPIs including conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, CLTV, new customer acquisition, and other site performance metrics • Develop and maintain dashboards in Shopify, GA4, Looker, Tableau, Northbeam, Triple Whale or similar tools • Experimentation & Optimization • Partner with digital product, growth marketing and retention marketing teams to design and evaluate A/B tests and personalization efforts • Identify trends and opportunities across digital channels, providing actionable insights with profitable growth • Customer Insights • Segment and analyze customer cohorts to inform lifecycle strategies, loyalty, retention, and CRM, providing insights on purchase behavior, maximizing cart value and repeat purchase • Support the launch and optimization of new programs (subscription, loyalty, international expansion) with data • Data Governance & Infrastructure • Partner with data engineering and web development teams to ensure clean data collection, tagging, and pipeline health • Evaluate and integrate analytics tools and vendors as needed, leading the RFP process for MMM and MTA tools • Build a culture of continuous improvement and optimization through data What You’ll Bring • 5+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in DTC ecommerce or consumer tech • Deep fluency in GA4, Shopify Analytics, Looker (or similar BI), AWS, and SQL • Experience with attribution modeling (MTA) and media mix evaluation (MMM) • Understanding of customer journey and funnel analysis, • Hands-on experience running and analyzing A/B tests, incrementality, hold-out groups, and match market testing • Ability to synthesize and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical teams • Highly collaborative, with a bias toward action and curiosity • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this position.
