Write engaging ad copy and editorial content, manage newsletter sponsorship calendar and pipeline, coordinate with sponsors, and track sponsorship performance. | Strong writing portfolio, ability to match brand voice, research skills, organization, communication with sponsors, tech familiarity, and self-driven task management. | Description: • Write witty, engaging ad copy for newsletter sponsorships that matches our established tone of voice (funny, smart, approachable) • Research and curate developer-relevant links and story ideas for the newsletter • Contribute to writing main editorial content alongside the editor • Own the newsletter’s sponsorship calendar, ensuring every ad slot is filled in advance • Follow up with past sponsors, reply to inbound requests, and maintain a strong sponsor pipeline • Coordinate with sponsors to get creative assets, create ads, and manage approvals • Track sponsorship performance and support ongoing client relationships • Maintain organized sponsorship pipelines and backend processes • Work directly with one of our founding creators on writing sponsor ad copy, curating links, and managing the sponsorship pipeline and calendar Requirements: • Exceptional writing skills with a portfolio (tech or marketing experience preferred) • Ability to closely match the established brand voice of the newsletter • Strong research ability and curiosity for finding unique, relevant stories • Highly organized, with excellent time management and attention to detail • Comfortable communicating with sponsors in a professional yet personable way • Persistent and proactive in following up with sponsors to keep the pipeline strong • Tech-savvy and familiar with developer culture, tools, and trends (or willing to learn) • Ability to own tasks and processes from start to finish and hit deadlines • Self-starter who can balance writing and editorial work with operational tasks • Desirable: Experience with newsletters, digital media, tech, or sponsorship sales • Desirable: Previous work experience in tech, devtools, startups, or creator-driven business Benefits: • Dynamic environment - We are dedicated to providing a world-class creative culture where our employees can thrive. • Work anywhere in the US - We are a remote team with employees around the world.
