Your Role: Retail Account Manager As a Retail Account Manager, you will play a vital role in driving retail sales through the register at customers, while managing investments to ensure we leverage our pay for performance model. You will be a crucial link between Elanco and our valued retail partners, fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the retail landscape, anticipate customer needs, and ensure their satisfaction, ultimately driving revenue growth for Elanco. In addition to relationship management, this position provides exposure to operational processes, allowing you to hone key skills in analytics, financials, and strategic account management. Customer responsibilities include: CVS, Ture Value, Menards, and additional accounts as identified. Your Responsibilities: Own account planning and growth: expand assortment, manage trade and financials, deliver strategic presentations, and inform decisions aligned to the plan. Lead internal/external meeting cadence: align on initiatives, track action items for both parties, and drive timely follow-through. Coordinate end-to-end operations: partner with supply/warehouse, customer service, retail ops, and accounting to prevent/resolve issues impacting the customer and Elanco sales. Manage financials and analytics: forecast accurately, process invoices/rebates, optimize trade spend for ROI/net sales, and analyze programs/KPIs (with Finance/Omnium) to improve performance. Build strategic relationships and enablement: act as a trusted advisor, facilitate education and business reviews, and collaborate with Category Management and Shopper Marketing to identify opportunities and close performance gaps. What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required Experience: Minimum two years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales or equivalent selling experience within a competitive environment. Experience in the animal health industry is a strong plus. Top Skills: Proven problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement. Your Role: Senior Strategic Account Director, US Pet Health As a Sr. Strategic Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Elanco’s partnership strategy with key corporate veterinary customers.
