Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Dental Assistant courses and lead the Dental Assistant Faculty in our Allied Health Program. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assistant courses, work with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction within the program, serve as the lead instructor and externship coordinator for the department, and, as such, is responsible for assisting with development and coordination of the academic program and retention activities within the department. The typical teaching load is one to two courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, coordinate externship sites, student placements and site visits, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Qualifications * Diploma/Degree required * CDA or other Nationally Recognized DA License Required * At least three years of experience in the field of Dental Assisting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Highly organized, motivated and results driven * Prior teaching experience required

Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic leader to manage the allied health programs. This is a full time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean/Director of Education. As the leader of the education programs, the Program Chair is responsible for managing the education department using sound business principles and ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accreditation and company policies and procedures. This position requires some evening and occasional Saturday hours. The Program Director teaches in his/her assigned discipline, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction within the assigned program(s), is the lead administrator for the departments, and, as such, is responsible for faculty training and development, coordinating and administering the academic program(s) and student outcomes and activities within the department. Qualifications * Completion of a Medical Assistant program resulting in a diploma or certificate of completion; associate degree preferred. * Expertise in interpersonal and verbal presentation/written communication skills. * Ability to provide effective direction and leadership and work effectively and collaboratively with others. * Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant. * Prior higher education/postsecondary related teaching experience of at least 2 years. * Associate degree in the discipline as required by accrediting and licensing agency standards. * Certifications depending upon discipline as per accreditation and state licensing standards * RMA and/or * CMA and/or * CCMA
