Support daily inventory activities, process orders, and coordinate shipments across multiple sites. | At least 2 years of experience in inventory or supply chain, proficiency with ERP systems, and ability to work with global teams. | ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Buying/Inventory Assistant to support our premier client’s Global Field Operations (GFO) Supply Chain Team, that ensures that their global infrastructure is ready, reliable, and running efficiently. They manage spare parts, coordinate logistics, and maintain visibility into hardware inventory across the world. As an Inventory Assistant, you will work onsite in Hebron, KY to support the team’s daily operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, processing orders, and helping coordinate shipments between global sites. You’ll work closely with procurement, logistics, and field operations teams to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. The role starts as a 6-month contract, and is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to grow in supply chain operations within one of the world’s most advanced technology companies. Key Responsibilities • Support day-to-day inventory management and reconciliation activities across multiple sites. • Process purchase orders and assist with material tracking to ensure timely replenishment and delivery. • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, incoming shipments, and stock levels. • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve order or logistics issues. • Assist with audits, compliance checks, and documentation of inventory control processes. • Identify small-scale process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related field. • Experience with order processing and purchase order management systems, using ERP or inventory management software. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with global teams and support cross-region logistics. • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy. Learn and deliver startup, operation, and execution of BAS projects including programming, commissioning, and user training with extensive travel. | Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with internship or study experience in BAS, field device programming, and proficiency in desktop applications. | Our client, a leader in Building Automation Controls Systems is seeking an Entry Level Application Engineer in the Building Automation Systems (BAS) space. Candidates should have some familiarity or exposure to BAS. In this position training will be provided to deliver startup, operation and execution for a multitude of BAS projects. Engineers on this team will train and mentor to deliver field level programming to implement and finalize projects. This role pays in the $70K - $90K range based on experience and location, includes a 12% annual bonus program, a strong benefit program and requires extensive travel based on team/role (See Below). Company headquarters are located in Brookfield, WI, but this role can be based at any location in the US and is “WORK FROM HOME” when not traveling to client locations. Home base is suggested to be near a major airport anywhere in the WESTERN Time Zones. The key to this role is the ability to learn Tridium/Niagara (N4) software and the ability to create control databases, user interfaces and perform setup of control systems based on project specifications and/or sales proposals. Senior Engineers will mentor this position which will shadow to begin and grow to manage projects and clients on their own. Incumbents of this role will also: • Understand building controls and HVAC systems and their terminology. • Deliver setup and operation of Windows-based computers and desktop applications such as MS-Word and MS-Excel. • Use proficiency in reading BAS and MEP drawings to determine if the drawing and programming required will work together. • Perform field startup and system commissioning tasks. • Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers. • Create programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, understanding panel layouts, termination details and project specifications or sales proposal. • Program control applications using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels and third-party integration devices connected through multiple communications protocols. • Deliver on-site and remote installation of software and control programs. • Perform job site system checkout, commissioning and testing of control applications to verify proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal and design documentation. • Develop system user interfaces, according to project specifications or sales proposal. • Help to deliver on-site and remote end user training for the use of the installed system. However, based on client and project needs there can be busier times which might average 2-3 weeks a month, but during the slower times it would be closer to 1 week a month. Travel amounts in a week do vary as well. It can often be the full week, Monday through Friday, but it can be just for a night or two in that week. To assist with work/life balance no travel is planned over the weekends and you will fly home each weekend. To be considered for this role, you should expect travel somewhere between 18 and 26 weeks a year and 95% of the travel is “planned,” meaning you will know in advance when and where you will be going. Some of the travel will include trips to the corporate office in WI.
