Overall Purpose This role will support initiatives involving cross-border payments and digital asset–enabled capabilities, ensuring delivery meets the scalability, security, and regulatory expectations required for emerging financial technologies. Essential Functions Own and manage multiple aspects of multiple interrelated project workstreams independently with multiple engineering team(s) across EWS to successfully deliver cross-functional projects from inception to completion that are of a high quality (e.g., secure, testable, maintainable, low-defects). Identify and mitigate risks specific to global payment infrastructure and digital asset integrations, ensuring secure and compliant implementation. Enforcing and improving EWS specific product and project lifecycle process from discovery to post deployment process in compliant with Audit, Risk and Compliance committee. Report on project tracking including results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities to stakeholders. Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of the project as well as status reporting regarding project and program milestones, success criteria, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to all stakeholders up to and including executive leadership. Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluate progress, proactively work with the project team to mitigate risks, and resolve issues as they arise. Define high level technical requirements and long-term design, work with technical leadership to drive end to end solutions, Oversee and influence technical decisions and provide technical insights to ensure alignment and quality delivery. Essential Functions Provide first-line, day-to-day legal counsel and support to the product team on all legal matters arising in the business unit Interpret and apply U.S. and international legal and regulatory frameworks and requirements applicable to payments, digital assets, blockchain, bank regulatory, and privacy such as the GENIUS Act, the National Bank Act, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC/sanctions compliance, EFTA/Reg E, UCC, UDAAP/UDAP, GLBA/Reg.
