This role balances account coverage with high-impact engagement, partnering with Customer Success Managers to ensure customers achieve value while meeting growth targets. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in strategic account coverage models, can manage multiple accounts efficiently, and has experience in cloud/SaaS expansion sales. Developing and executing strategic account plans, prioritizing high-growth accounts, and collaborating with Marketing to run campaigns that increase adoption, upsell professional services, and promote DuploCloud support package upgrades. Utilizing AWS, GCP, and other partner programs to accelerate SMB deal growth, including submitting funding requests aligned with customer activity. Maintaining pipeline accuracy, tracking opportunities, and reporting on progress against quota and revenue targets. Partnering with Customer Success Managers to identify expansion opportunities, surface risks, and effectively position DuploCloud solutions for long-term customer success. Qualifications: At least 5 years in account management, customer success, or SaaS expansion sales, preferably with a portfolio-based model. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in SaaS or cloud environments. Familiarity with AWS and GCP partner funding programs and co-sell initiatives is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently and prioritize high-impact opportunities. Strong collaboration skills to work across CSMs, Sales, and Product teams. Analytical and organized with strong pipeline and forecast management skills. Success Metrics Achievement of renewal and expansion quota Contribution to overall Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) Growth in ARR from upsell/cross-sell within assigned accounts Funding Leverage:: Dollar value of AWS/GCP cash incentives applied toward renewals and upsells each quarter. Base Range: $95,000-$105,000 ($190,000-$210,000 OTE) depending on location and level of experience. New Market Expansion & Hunting for New Buying Centers Guiding AEs to penetrate new teams, new use cases, and upmarket segments, expanding the footprint beyond initial entry points. Establishing repeatable strategies for identifying new buyer personas and business units, and coaching your team to win early-stage opportunities. Driving Adoption of New Product Lines (AI) Leading your team in positioning and selling innovative or emerging product categories, ideally helping bring new offerings—such as our AI product—to market. Enabling AEs to confidently articulate value propositions in nascent categories and secure early lighthouse wins. Sales Leadership & Team Development Cultivating a culture of excellence that consistently surpasses revenue and productivity goals. Setting clear expectations around revenue-driving activities, pipeline discipline, and forecasting accuracy. Collaborating closely with Marketing on targeted campaigns, in-market events, and demand-gen activities to fuel pipeline creation. Designing scalable processes, KPIs, and structure for a Commercial Sales org in a high-growth environment. Coaching AEs on sales strategy, deal execution, opportunity management, and long-term career planning. Analyzing data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities across call volumes, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene. Acting as a hands-on leader, actively joining customer calls, engaging executives, and supporting strategic deals. Qualifications Proven experience leading a high-performing SaaS or technology sales team. Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota and strategic objectives. Demonstrated success managing and closing complex B2B sales cycles with C-level stakeholders. Experience selling a product in an emerging category, or one with a developing brand story. Prior experience working with or selling through cloud ecosystem partners strongly preferred. Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience preferred. Range: $120,000-$140,000 base with a possible $240,000-$280,000 OTE depending on location and level of experience.
