Manage TikTok and TYB communities through content creation, engagement, and strategy to drive brand growth and sales. | Requires on-camera presence, TikTok trend expertise, video editing skills, and community management experience, which are not reflected in your background. | Job Title TikTok & TYB Community Manager (Fractional 10-12 hours a week) Role Overview DUNE Suncare is looking for a TikTok & TYB Community Manager to drive measurable growth across TikTok and our TYB (Try Your Best) community - building a louder brand, a stickier community, and a stronger loyalty engine while converting scrolls into sales. This role sits at the collision point of content, commerce, and community, with clear accountability for TikTok Shop performance, affiliate activation, community engagement, and brand awareness KPIs. You’ll be equal parts on-camera creator and behind-the-scenes operator: a fast, funny, out-of-the-box thinker who can spark culture, start conversations, and turn them into conversion and long-term love. TikTok Content Creation & On-Camera Presence Serve as the on-camera face and/or voice of the DUNE Suncare TikTok account Conceptualize, film, and edit TikTok-native short-form content that is: Product-focused Brand & founder-led Educational, humorous, inspirational, and aspirational Retail-aware (Ulta, Bluemercury, Dermstore, etc.) Produce 5+ videos per week optimized for engagement, reach, and conversion Stay on top of TikTok trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments, adapting them authentically to the DUNE brand voice 2. TikTok Content Strategy & Channel Structure Develop and execute a repeatable, scalable TikTok content strategy Define and maintain: Content pillars Recurring formats Posting cadence aligned with launches, promos, and campaigns Operate with a revenue-first mindset, optimizing content for: TikTok Shop Affiliate performance Conversion-driven storytelling 3. TikTok Shop Management Manage the DUNE TikTok Shop storefront, including: Product tagging in videos Storefront accuracy and updates Conversion-optimized content flow Ensure TikTok content supports sales goals, hero SKUs, and promotional moments 4.. TikTok Community Engagement Monitor and respond to TikTok comments and DMs in real time Actively nurture a high-engagement, brand-loyal TikTok community Surface audience insights, FAQs, objections, and sentiment to inform: Content strategy Product education Future launches 5.. TYB (Try Your Best) Community Management Own DUNE’s presence on TYB, acting as the primary brand voice and community lead within the platform Create, post, and manage community-specific content, including: Brand updates and announcements Product drops and early-access moments Giveaways, challenges, and engagement-driven activations Founder moments and behind-the-scenes storytelling Engage daily with the TYB community by: Responding to comments and direct messages Encouraging UGC, product reviews, and active participation Building genuine, long-term relationships with top and emerging community members Collaborate cross-functionally with the internal team on TYB campaigns, rewards, and loyalty activations Produce and support local community events, including: Assisting with event planning, promotion, and attendee engagement Coordinating community moments tied to pop-ups, retail activations, or brand-hosted gatherings Capturing content and feedback from events to repurpose across TikTok, TYB, and other social platforms Track community engagement and sentiment, surfacing actionable insights to inform: TikTok content strategy Product storytelling and education Loyalty, retention, and community growth initiatives 6. Cross-Functional Content & Team Support Support DUNE’s Social Media Strategist (Kelly) and co-founders with: TikTok and Instagram filming Content editing and asset repurposing Ensure all content aligns with: DUNE’s visual identity Brand voice and messaging standards The broader marketing and launch calendar Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Deep understanding of TikTok culture, trends, and commerce (TikTok Shop) Comfortable and confident on camera Strong video editing skills (CapCut, In-app editing, or similar tools) Proven experience driving engagement and conversion on TikTok Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content streams and communities Community-first mindset with strong written communication skills Experience with affiliate marketing, creator programs, or social commerce is a major plus Passion for beauty, skincare, lifestyle, and modern brand building •
