The Senior Manager, Business Planning (Project Hire) serves as a strategic operator supporting the Director of Strategy & Business Planning for Global Brand Commercialization within Disney Consumer Products (DCP). This role drives clarity, alignment, and follow-through across global priority-bridging strategy and execution for initiatives that span regions, brands, and categories. Acting as an extension of the Director, this leader helps advance high-impact projects, codify ways of working, and strengthen coordination across a highly matrixed global organization. You Will • Partner closely with the Director to manage and progress strategic initiatives, ensuring global and regional alignment. • Translate strategic frameworks into operational delivery plans, connecting goals to clear workstreams, responsibilities, and timelines. • Drive execution and accountability across global projects and cross-LOB initiatives serving as a central integrator between Strategy, Finance, Commercial, and Operations. • Facilitate planning, tracking, and reporting on global strategic initiatives, surfacing interdependencies, risks, and enabling decisions. • Build strong, trust-based relationships across brands, functions, and regions to move work forward in a complex matrix environment. • Create and manage executive materials including scorecards, updates, and strategic narratives that crisply reflect progress and impact. • Partner with Global Ops to ensure information flow, governance consistency, and overall operational rhythm—while managing complementary, forward-looking initiatives distinct from day-to-day operations. • Provide analytical and decision support for business cases, organizational mapping, and resource trade-offs. You Have • 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting ideally within a global organization. • Proven ability to bridge strategy and execution; adept at turning business goals into actionable, measurable programs. • Exceptional relationship builder with a track record of influence in matrixed corporate environments. • Advanced organizational and analytical skills; strong ability to synthesize, simplify, and communicate clearly to senior leaders. • Superior analytical, financial modeling, research skills, and attention to detail, with high proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel • Experience in entertainment, consumer products, or brand strategy preferred. • Exceptionally comfortability navigating ambiguity and structuring clarity around evolving priorities Ideal Haves • Operated as a hands-on strategic executor pragmatic, analytical, and solutions oriented. • Balanced strategic thinking with deep operational rigor and disciplined follow-up. • Demonstrated a commitment to collaboration and communication, skillfully gaining alignment across competing needs and geographies. • Thrived in complex ecosystems, translating big ideas into manageable, measurable actions Education • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree is a plus. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!
