Provide help desk support and troubleshooting for end users including setup and deployment of workstations, mobile devices, and network equipment. | AA/AS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience; strong IT troubleshooting skills; knowledge of Microsoft technology stack; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. | Discovery Natural Resources LLC is a domestic, onshore exploration and production company with over 1,000 wells in operation in Texas. The IT Specialist provides end user help desk support, PC and network troubleshooting, and communications troubleshooting for the Company’s Denver office. Primary Responsibilities • Setup and deployment of new workstations and laptops • First line of contact with end users for help desk support via phone, e-mail, and in person • Provide troubleshooting and help to end users for: • Microsoft Windows Desktops & Laptops • Mobile Devices • VoIP Phones • Oil & Gas software applications • Printers • Wireless networks • Travel to remote field offices periodically as needed • Follow company IT procedures and security protocols • Run security and analytical reports Education and Experience • AA/AS degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree is desirable • Related work experience considered in lieu of education Skills and Knowledge • Commitment to Discovery Natural Resources core values and job expectations. • Ability to work with minimal supervision, analyze and solve problems • Understanding of IT infrastructure, servers, networks • Keen understanding of desktop configurations • Knowledge of oil & gas business beneficial • Available to work some evenings and weekends as needed • Knowledgeable on the Microsoft technology stack • Must be well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation and Benefits • Estimated pay range: $70,000 – $85,000 (depending on experience of the successful candidate) • Eligible for short- and long-term incentives • Medical, dental and vision insurance • Short and long-term disability coverage • Basic life and AD&D insurance • 401(k) retirement plan with a 6% company match. 100% vest of employer contributions immediately • Paid vacation and sick time • Hybrid work from home schedule available • 9/80 work schedule NOTE: This job description is NOT intended to be all-inclusive.
