Maintain and upgrade mainframe DBMS software in compliance with security guidelines, lead software installations using SMP/E, analyze outages and lead mitigation efforts. | Active Secret Clearance, possession of IAT Level 1 certification (A+CE, CCNA-Security, Network+ CE, or SSCP), and experience with mainframe DBMS and security compliance. | DDC- IT Services is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of a Senior Database Admin (ADABAS). This individual will maintain software and DBMS environments in compliance with the STIG and/or the SRG. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain software and DBMS environments in compliance with the STIG and/or the SRG. This includes keeping software at a vendor supported version, applying necessary security software patches within the required timeframe, and maintaining required documentation as outlined in the STIG. Maintain any and all software exits associated with the software maintained in this SOW, regardless of the language used to write the exit. • Maintain a working knowledge of departmental SOPs. Ensure that all work is completed using the documented procedures, to include updating and maintaining tickets, change requests, and documentation. • DBMS, including all changes and upgrades. Provide a report to the supported Government POC on customer questions. • Use SMP/E to install software as a lead technician within the IBM SMP/E. • Install, customize, upgrade and maintain Data Base Management Systems (DBMS) Software on mainframe computer platforms running z/OS. Participate in planning and executing database migrations, application software upgrades/migrations. • Analyze reasons for outages to provide RCA reports, give presentations to managements about RCA, and lead mitigation efforts of a team of technicians. • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and experience of the IBM SMP/E environment while using SMP/E to install software as a lead technician. • Other duties as assigned. Manage and coordinate IT infrastructure projects with cybersecurity focus, oversee project planning, execution, and reporting, and ensure compliance with contractual and technical standards. | Bachelor's degree or Project Management certification, 5+ years IT/infrastructure project management experience, active Public Trust clearance, proficiency with project management tools, and strong leadership and communication skills. | The Mid-Level Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing infrastructure and IT-related projects with a focus on cybersecurity alignment. This role provides full lifecycle project management-covering planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting-while ensuring all project objectives are met within the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Manager interfaces with technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to drive quality delivery and ensure compliance with contractual and technical standards. • This position is contingent upon contract award.* Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate the execution of field and task-level infrastructure projects with a focus on ITA Cyber Security alignment. • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and task assignments to ensure timely and quality deliverables. • Interface with stakeholders including end users, technical teams, vendors, and client services to ensure cross-functional coordination. • Monitor project scope, schedule, and cost performance, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. • Analyze technical, methodological, or tool-related project issues and propose effective solutions. • Supervise personnel involved in project execution, providing clear direction and quality oversight. • Manage vendor integrations and oversee tracking and evaluation of third-party deliverables. • Prepare project documentation, including project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), risk registers, quality assurance plans, communication plans, and progress reports. • Maintain continuous customer engagement to ensure satisfaction and contract compliance. • Use judgment and analytical skills to resolve non-routine project issues and identify process improvement opportunities. • Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience): • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline or Project Management certification (PMP or FAC/PPM or equivalent). • US citizen with active Public Trust clearance (or higher level clearance) required. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience in IT or infrastructure projects. • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating with cybersecurity stakeholders. • Proficient in project management tools and practices (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow). • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects or task orders. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience supporting federal government IT programs or working within government contracting environments. • Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, or FedRAMP standards and security controls. • Understanding of infrastructure environments (cloud, network, systems) and cybersecurity integration.
