Lead product management and roadmap development for enterprise clients using Adobe Experience Platform ecosystem. | Requires 6-10 years product management experience with deep Adobe tool expertise and consulting background. | WHY DEPT®? We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA. We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter. At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build. THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager, Intelligent Activation & Growth to join DEPT®'s growing Adobe practice in North America. In this senior-level role, you will own program-level product management across multiple agile workstreams, leading the strategy and delivery of customer journey orchestration, lifecycle marketing, and personalization initiatives built on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RT-CDP). You are not managing a single backlog — you are accountable for cross-team coherence across a full program, ensuring that roadmaps translate into measurable commercial outcomes, and that the technical architecture decisions made in AEP schema design and audience segmentation connect directly to the business value your clients are trying to realize. At this career stage, you are as comfortable running an executive steering committee as you are reviewing a data model or negotiating scope with a VP-level sponsor. The clients you will serve are large enterprises — retailers, financial services firms, healthcare organizations, and media companies — who have invested in the Adobe ecosystem but are not yet realizing its full potential. They come to DEPT® because their customer data is fragmented across siloed CRM, commerce, and ad tech systems; because their marketing teams are still running batch-and-blast campaigns that cannot act on real-time customer signals; and because their journey touchpoints are disconnected, producing inconsistent experiences that erode customer trust. You will help them define what "good" looks like: architecting audience segmentation strategies in RT-CDP, designing end-to-end journey orchestration flows in AJO, establishing KPI frameworks tied to activation outcomes, and producing the 12-to-24-month activation roadmaps that sequence the work from current-state data infrastructure to personalization at scale. Your deliverables are not slide decks that sit on shelves — they are operational blueprints that delivery teams execute and that business stakeholders track against. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead program-level roadmap development: Define and maintain 12-to-24-month activation roadmaps for enterprise clients, sequencing AEP data ingestion and schema buildout, RT-CDP audience strategy, and AJO journey orchestration across quarterly delivery milestones that connect to annual business goals. Own senior stakeholder relationships and steering governance: Run executive steering committees with Director and VP-level sponsors, negotiate scope and budget trade-offs, and translate complex Adobe architecture decisions — such as identity resolution approaches in AEP or channel execution logic in AJO — into clear business terms that non-technical stakeholders can act on. Drive cross-team dependency management and delivery coherence: Coordinate across multiple agile teams working in parallel on data engineering, journey design, analytics, and activation — resolving blockers, surfacing risks early, and ensuring that work in Adobe Campaign or Adobe Target integrates cleanly with the broader AEP data model. Define and track value realization frameworks: Build KPI frameworks and measurement plans that connect activation decisions — segmentation logic in RT-CDP, personalization rules in Adobe Target, journey variants in AJO — to commercial outcomes such as revenue per customer, lifecycle stage progression, and campaign ROI, and report progress to executive stakeholders on a regular cadence. Mentor and develop Product Owners across the program: Coach POs embedded in individual workstreams on backlog prioritization, story refinement, and stakeholder communication, raising the overall PM capability of the engagement and ensuring that product decisions at the team level remain coherent with program-level strategy. WHAT YOU BRING 6-10 years of product management experience in enterprise digital transformation: You have led product management or program management in complex, multi-team delivery environments, ideally within a consulting or agency context. You have owned roadmaps with real budget accountability, managed senior client relationships, and delivered against measurable business outcomes — not just shipped features. Deep domain expertise in customer data, lifecycle marketing, and personalization: You understand how enterprises think about customer data strategy, from data ingestion and identity resolution to audience segmentation and journey orchestration. You can hold a substantive conversation about schema design trade-offs in AEP, the implications of deterministic versus probabilistic identity stitching in RT-CDP, or the operational differences between batch and streaming activation. You know what makes a personalization program succeed at scale and what kills it. Adobe Product Fluency: You have hands-on working knowledge of the Adobe Experience Platform ecosystem calibrated to a senior consulting standard. You are fluent in AEP data architecture concepts (XDM schemas, datasets, sandboxes, data flows), Real-Time CDP audience building and activation, Adobe Journey Optimizer journey canvas design and decision management, Adobe Campaign channel orchestration, Customer Journey Analytics workspace analysis and calculated metrics, and Adobe Target experience and recommendation delivery. You do not need to be a hands-on technical implementer, but you must be able to review implementation decisions critically, catch architectural gaps, and guide delivery teams toward patterns that will hold up at enterprise scale. Executive presence and stakeholder influence skills: You have experience managing relationships with VP-level and Director-level business sponsors who have aggressive timelines, competing priorities, and limited patience for jargon. You know how to frame technical constraints as business decisions, how to hold scope boundaries without damaging trust, and how to run a steering committee that produces clear decisions rather than endless discussion. Consulting delivery experience with complex, multi-vendor client environments: You are comfortable operating in enterprise environments where the Adobe stack is one component in a broader ecosystem that includes data warehouses, CDPs, ad tech platforms, and legacy CRM systems. You know how to identify integration risk early, structure phased delivery plans that de-risk technical dependencies, and communicate those trade-offs to both technical architects and business stakeholders. WHAT DO WE OFFER We are a collaborative, open-door, best-idea-wins environment that fosters personal and company growth and has fun doing it. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA. Mentor and elevate a team of strategists, fostering systems thinking, curiosity, and strategic rigor in their work. WHAT YOU BRING: 5-7 years of experience in omni-channel media strategy and planning, with a proven track record of leading large-scale accounts. A strong passion for critical thinking, problem solving, and a deep understanding of how businesses, brands, and customers interact Experience in "Connections Planning" or Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), with a deep understanding of how content and media intersect. Expert-level proficiency with media research and audience profiling tools (GWI, MRI, ComScore, Pathmatics, etc.). Demonstrated success in managing 360-degree sponsorship or tentpole campaign planning. Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior clients and navigate complex multi-agency (IAT) environments. A data-driven mindset paired with creative intuition—you know how to back up big ideas with hard numbers.
