Support DoD vehicle sustainment efforts, manage engineering projects, and coordinate with government agencies on logistics and technical assessments. | Requires extensive experience in military logistics, systems engineering, DoD processes, and project management, which are not reflected in your background. | Support the PM LAV office as an experienced logistics analyst overseeing a variety of efforts to facilitate the sustainment of the PM LAV vehicles. With relevant DoD acquisition, tactical vehicle logistics and tactical vehicle engineering experience. These efforts will include the development of processes and partnerships to make use of additive manufacturing and condition-based maintenance in order to ensure the sustainment and readiness of PM LAV vehicles, to include both legacy vehicles as well as platforms that are currently in development. Essential Job Functions: Serves primarily as the Platform/Logistics analyst supporting DoD Customer. Interacts with the Depots, Program Executive Office (PEO), other Program Management Offices (PMO), DLA, ILSC, GVSC, and other Government agencies on a regular and routine basis. Provides technical and programmatic support to the tactical vehicle program office Fleet Sustainment Team (FST). Assist with activities involving component obsolescence and life cycle, including identifying of alternative parts and recommend solutions, to include the use of Additive Manufacturing (AM). Support AM efforts for DoD customer and work with PEO LS and GVSC to understand the process as it relates to sustainment of legacy platforms and future vehicle platforms. Maintain current awareness of readiness issues and problem areas for assigned platforms and work within the command to solve readiness issues. Support efforts to integrate Condition Based Maintenance (CBM+), working with the PEO LS, other PMOs, GVSC, and other government entities as it relates to sustainment of the FoLAV and the ARV program. Manage Engineering Cost Proposals (ECPs) or other Technology Insertion projects, tracking cost, schedule, performance, and integration. Participates in engineering analyses, technical assessments, trade-off analyses, business case analyses, value engineering, and resolution of technical or operating problems. Facilitates integration and coordination within the PMO, the Depots, and other external organizations. This position requires full-time on-site presence at the client location. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 6 years of experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Familiar with Systems Engineering and DoD Acquisition processes. Familiar with systems/subsystems for Ground Combat Vehicles. Experience managing projects tracking cost, schedule, and performance. Knowledge/experience in performing engineering analyses, technology assessments, trade-off analyses, business case analyses and value engineering. Knowledge/experience with system level obsolescence management and tools used for resolution and reverse engineering of obsolete components. Knowledge/experience in working with Logistics to ensure the vehicles get updated to the latest fielded configurations. Knowledge/experience with Technical Data Packages. This includes some level of expertise with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, producibility, and overall engineering review for the drawings/specifications. Travel up to 25%. 7407

The applicant shall conduct detailed planning, coordination, and synchronization of product team operations. Experience shall include: Interface and coordinate with higher level staffs; Provide program information, analysis, and recommendations to leadership for program action and decisions; Develop battle rhythm of activities; calendar management; coordinate and facilitate recurring staff meetings; Prepare, review, staff, transmit, and electronically store on government owned systems, agenda, briefings, papers, tasks, minutes, calendars, action items, and other program related documents; and Prepare required presentation materials for on-site and off-site events. Background and knowledge of planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs.
